Live Viewers Dip, NBC Touts Online Viewers

Chuck‘s first episode of November sweeps dipped a bit – 6.23 million viewers – but this morning NBC released online viewership information for October 2008 touting recordbreaking numbers. Visits to NBC.com were up 110% over October 2007 with 36.5 million uniques and 299 million page views. NBC says that of the 135.8 million video streams delivered during the month, strong performers were “Heroes,” “The Office,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Chuck,” “Lipstick Jungle,” “The Biggest Loser,” “Life” and “ER.” Sounds like the network is aware that live viewership isn’t necessarily the majority anymore.
