5. For the finale, bought 4 subs:
Footlong Italian BMT combo for my wife
Footlong Subway Melt combo for myself
Footlong Spicy Italian combo for my son
Footlong Ham&Cheese combo for my daughters to share

No comment cards at that store, so I wrote a nice note and gave it to the manager, telling him why we bought the subs that night and asking him to pass the word along and such.

The following week (Monday, 5/4), I bought 5 footlongs from another local Subway (to further spread the word):
Footlong Italian BMT combo for my wife
Footlong Subway Melt for myself
Footlong Spicy Italian for my 9-year-old son
Footlong Spicy Italian for my 5-year-old daughter
Footlong Cold Cut Trio for my 3-year-old daughter

Again, no comment cards at this other Subway, but I pre-wrote a note and gave it to a manager after I completed my order.

The people working at both subways were surprised and impressed with my dedication, and hopefully this increased awareness at least a little bit, because none of the workers at either store had heard about this grassroots campaign to save chuck!
