**Congrats to Eonwe, winner of this week’s giveaway!**
It’s not actually Halloween, but do we really care? Chuck continues what will be a tradition of giving the male AND female viewers a healthy dose of eye candy alongside a potent storyline. This week, Chuck sees what could be his future when he meets another nerd-turned-government-asset who wants out. Is Chuck destined for the same fate? Here’s the official synopsis:
HALLOWEEN – Chuck (Zachary Levi) accidentally runs into a fellow government agent who seems to be living a similar life. It turns out this agent is a gadget whiz, whose brain makes him a national security asset and a dangerous liability, much like Chuck. Chuck faces a predicament whether he should help turn this agent into Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Casey (Adam Baldwin) or help this agent escape his handlers. Meanwhile, Halloween, a holiday that means a lot to Chuck and Morgan (Joshua Gomez) as buddies, proves to be a little different this year as Morgan feels that Chuck is neglecting both their childhood and friendship.

First!
This week’s episode is great–the best part is Morgan at the Buy More trying to act “grown up”.

This is definitely one of my favorite episodes. You can already see that Sarah is beginning to care for Chuck; taking a picture to give him something “real”. And of course the sandworm costume is hysterically funny!

I love the end when Chuck (knowing that Casey is listening to the bugs in his room) starts a debate about sandwiches on a desert island with Morgan just to make Casey go nuts.
I don’t know who was hotter in her costume–Yvonne as Princess Leia or Sarah Lancaster as Eve.

You gotta go with Yvonne as Princess Leia.

I love it when there is a giveaway.
Come on, Chuck fans. Get in the game. Plus, Ellie and Sarah look extra gorgeous in this one. Well, I guess Awesome looks mighty fine to some of you too.

It’s a very Chuck Halloween! I have to say my favorite part of Chuck vs the Sandworm is Sarah dressing up as Princess Leia and taking a picture with Chuck. Makes me wonder if they did anything neat for Halloween during Season 2. =)

This ep has one of my fave Casey lines ever! When Chuck goes to confront him about bugging his house and says that Casey’s been spying on his most intimate moments and Casey says…
“Not really an issue thus far…at least not in the sense of traditional 2 person intimacy.” LMAO!!!!!!
John Casey FTW!

The slow motion run between Chuck and Morgan at the party – classic! I also love how everything almost falls apart between the team but they are still able to pick it up. It shows what a great team they really are, when they work at it!

ChuckMe Mondays -> the only good thing about Mondays
But seriously, on a desert island, you need to bring a sandwich that won’t go bad too fast, because you want to be able to eat it over time. Forget about anything with mayo, I would go for process meat since it’s full of chemical products to preserve the meat. Or a do it on site tomato sandwich

Havn’t had a Subway footlong in weeks. Couldn’t resist so finished mine before the episode has even started. Need to rush out for more! Spicy Italian with jalapenos, peppers, jalapenos, onions and more jalapenos FTW!

This is a good episode, though admittedly not towards the top of my favorites.
Chuck and Casey’s interactions are some of my favorites, in this episode, especially after Chuck finds all the bugs in his apartment.
I also loved when the Buy More Corperate person said to Morgan, “I’m sure this Chuck is a great guy, and tomorrow he’ll be working for one Harold Tiberious Tang, God help you all.”
This episode ended with a great line when Morgan said, “Who brings roast beef to a deserted island? You gotta dump her.”

Hey Mel…I finally got around to posting this up as an Event over on the Save Chuck Facebook page. Hopefully we can drag in some people from that social networking platfrom over here to ChuckTV and the Twitterfest that is Chuck Me Mondays!
Awesome that you’re doing a give away. FYI – Target has Chuck S1 on sale right now for like $16.99…I bought an extra copy to loan out to family and friends over the next couple of months. When I’m done with that, I plan to donate it to the local library. See you all later tonight on Twitter!

Darth PaJohn…I love that we see the SAME HR rep reprise his role in Season 2 when Big Mike is being evaluated by corporate. A nice bit of continuity by the the creative team and casting crew.

Chuck is my all-time favorite show, and having season 3 on the horizon made my life so much better. Chuck vs. the Sandworm is one of the classics. It has Sarah as Princess Leia and Ellie as Eve, but most importantly it develops the overall story by showing just what being an asset really entails with the hidden bugs and cameras. What is there to say? Grab a footlong, have a heart, and get ready to be Chucked hard!

Love the Halloween theme. Yvonne and Sarah look incredible. As someone pointed out, awesome eye candy for all. As for Harry Tang… I hope he’s enjoying managing the pineapple plantation in Hawaii. Wonder if Morgan looked him up when he went over with Anna to train as a hibachi chef?

I love Awesome and Ellie as Adam and Eve! Also really hoping we’ll see Harry Tang again when Morgan’s in Hawaii.
Oh, and Dave, all you need to do to join in is include #ChuckMeMondays in your tweets (and #Chuck as well if you have room)!

Not the best Chuck Episode, but Sarah in Princess Leia outfit makes up for it.

When you think about it, Sara does show her feelings when she wants to give Chuck something real. Also Chuck helps the team all the time by helping the team get the bad guys by not “staying in the car”. Love the Goldfinger reference by stopping the bomb at 007 (same time Bond stops Goldfingers’ bomb also!)

Just a few minutes away and I am ready. Had a Chicken Teryaki sub (one of Big Mike’s favourites) I watched Sizzling Shrimp again just because I just can’t watch one episode a night.
Here we go.

he heh he gotta love the sandworm and lol for Sarah in her Princess Leia outfit, she is so gorgeous.
And Awesome of course; Are you a tucker?

July 6, 2009
Sarah’s Leia costume here is awesome! I want one of those. In this episode we see how endearingly trusting Chuck is, which is also really sad in its own way
And in this episode I reeeeeeeally wanted to hug Morgan at the end.

I forget how well Chuck uses music. The ending where Chuck and Morgan come to each other–music swells like a teen romance–is both funny and poignant showing the strength of their friendship. I’m so glad there will be another season.

I like the fact that even Morgan, who we all know is no intellectual giant, has at least a dodging understanding of the significance of Shai-Hulud, the Maker. Ellie and awesome, despite their type-A over-achiever status, can’t see anything but a sea cucumber because people like that are simply incapable of committing the mental resources necessary to understand the monumental sweep of a work like Herbert’s Dune series. There’s no tangible payoff received as a result of the expenditure of psychological effort, so to the type-A’s it’s a waste of time.
I do like Ellie’s costume, though. Just goes to show that even nonsensical religious dogma can be hot.

Been a while since I watched this one. Doesn’t jump out as one of my favs, but still solid. I’d forgotten about Morgan’s “awesomeness” training.
Then there was the “mystery crisper” — gross, but funny.

i really liked the twist. i commented in an earlier ep how chuck’s instincts and morals can get him in trouble. when i first saw the ep when it first aired, i thought the young genius was good. and then there was that scene in the home theater room, and he became a bad guy…

Things I love about this episode:
Before Credits:
– Mystery Crisper (doesn’t every lunch room have one?)
- Morgan is so awesome. He can eat anything.
- Big Mike’s body is his temple.
- Chuck not wanting to see Awesome’s snake
- Morgan playing Guitar Shredder
After Credits
- Sarah staying for 42 minutes and 15 seconds.
- Poor Casey feeling like Team Bartowski’s fat kid.
- the two Nerds fighting over the water gun
- Morgan getting grown up tips from Capt Awesome. Becoming a tucker and taming the mane.
- Chuck threatening to kill Casey if he spied on Ellie.
- intimate moment. Not really an issue so far.
- the Jessica Alba sandwich
- how Lazlo disables the transponder
- War Games reference
- Casey’s phone messages
- Ejection seat in the nerd hearder. Chuck looking over and saying “Ladies” while his sneakers are smoking
- Sarah being all supportive before the job interview.
- Morgan looking like a Wall Street tycoon.
- Harry Tang’s cowboy outfit
- Morgan interviewing on Chuck’s behalf.
- The whole bromance scene at the party.
- Ellie in the Eve costume and Sarah as Princess Leah (Hey I am a guy and they both looked great)
- Sarah making Chuck the hero
- Chuck starting the sandwich conversation again.
- Morgan: Roast Beef “you got to dump her”
What I didn’t like
This episode seemed to end way to quickly.

I love Chuck’s geeky side, like how he genuinely enjoys discussing desert island sandwiches with Morgan for hours. It makes sense that he would evolve more into Agent Carmichael over the seasons, but I miss seeing that geekery more often.

Anyone besides me have trouble watching this on the WB? I tried on two computers, and the feed kept getting disconnected. Was this maybe because SO MANY Chucksters were watching tonight that their site couldn’t handle the numbers? Hope so!

There are two reasons to love this episode
1) It is the first episode to truly demonstrate how deep Chuck and Morgan’s friendship is.
2) We get to see Sarah in a Princess Leah outfit.
How much more could anyone ask?

Favorite costume? Captain Awesome. That is, if tan colored underwear with a leaf glued on can be considered a costume… If not second place goes to pimpin’ Big Mike. The man has style. Still bummed that they cut out the Harry Tang interview. That deleted scene is hilarious. “Workers are sheep: Dumb, stubborn, often… smelly.”

my favorite part is the parody of “The O.C.” scene, when chuck is running into the party and runs up to morgan in slow motion..with the song “dice” in the background.soooo funny!!

The Awesome/Morgan scene was great. Morgan – “I feel like my junk is out there for all the world to see.” Love this show!!
