Josh Schwartz: The Comic Con Interview

“Emotional and traumatic.” With those words at the Chuck panel, co-creator and executive producer Josh Schwartz had the fans groaning and the Interwebz in a tizzy. Naturally we couldn’t let him get away with that! In the Chuck press room, I immediately jumped on that statement and asked Schwartz to expound on them, which he did. Sort of.

  1. I think Sarah might have been planning to leave the spy world and that is what she actually was trying to tell chuck at the wedding dance.

So then it would be traumatic for her to be dragged back into the spy world, also perhaps she is feeling guilty about Bryce getting killed and her not being there as back-up. This would also make Chuck upset just to know…

    Awesome interview by the way!

  2. Thank you for another great interview and posting it for all of us to see. I still can’t wait for season 3 of Chuck. Especially the first 2 episodes to see how everything will come together.

I agree with dave. Sarah might have been planning to leave the spy world for (what Chuck would call it)a normal life. Sarah did hint that she would want a “normal life” in season 1 episode 11. Chuck Vs. the Crown Vic: When she was asking Casey if he ever wanted a normal life, to have kids and etc. I also agree about Sarah feeling guilty of Bryce getting killed because she wasn’t there. I don’t think Chuck would be upset about how she reacted to Bryce’s because he know that the had a thing. Plus he was 1 of his best friends.

I’m all for the Charah relationship I really want them to be together but with every great relationship their will always be hard times. Plus I have faith in the writers and the characters. That is why I love this show so much.

  3. Wow thanks for getting Josh to clarify. Now all the shippers can step away from the ledges…jk!

Im glad he finally said where s.3 will pick up, right after s.2 ended, which alot of fans were worried about.

  4. At the end of the interview Adam bearhugs Big Mike in the background. You’ve gotta love these guys!
