At the end of last season, Chuck triumphantly walked out on his job at the Buy More and chose a life as a spy. So why did Zachary Levi post a picture on his Facebook account featuring a new Nerd Herd badge for Chuck?

I got the impression it was just a photo of his old badge. But what do I know.
Yeah the picture doesn’t match his “new” hair style.
Were I Chuck I would have felt a little guilty taking a paycheck from the Buy More and doing fake off site installs.
I wouldn’t have felt guilty. All the other buymorians are there, but do they do any real work? Not as much as Chuck. Even Casey could sell a beastmaster grill! I’ve always felt (until the Ring) that Chuck was cheated by the government out of a big fat paycheck.
I was led to believe Chuck’s skills come and go—Over time perhaps all the intersect gradually leaves him and he will not have to get it removed. Since Chuck’s father removed the first intersect without knowing about the Fulcrum intersect left in Chuck’s brain I wonder if that will be revisited. It would give him a weapon that everyone seems to have forgotten. Ever wonder what would Orion do if Chuck was stuck in jail or Casey had killed him. I imagine some predators would come calling and the government would not have to pay a couple of government pensions.
I thought it was common knowledge that Chuck was going back to BuyMore? In the “Thanks a Million” video on ChuckMeOut he’s in his Nerd Herd uniform.
If you noticed what he was wearing when they filmed their thanks for one million video streams on the ChuckMeOut website (you can see their “thank you” video on Hulu), Levi was wearing the Nerd Herd uniform–white shirt, dorky tie, dark pants. In the video, Fedak said they were currently filming episode 3.04.
Chuck IS back at the Buy More. And Fedak (or Schwartz) already teased a month ago that they want Casey doing more stuff at the Buy More.
It’s been made fairly clear that Chuck’s back at the Buy More. I suspect
Chuck and Sarah’s cover relationship is broken up at some point. It would explain the moving in with Morgan, the massive beards, and Chuck regressing back to Nerd Herder despite his wedding gift to Ellie. Poor Chuck. No girl, itchy beard, back working retail and a sorely disappointed sister.
of course hes working at the Buy More, if he did not work there. there would be no more Jeff, Lester, Emmit, Big Mike, or Anna.
If he is a spy .. he needs a cover just like sarah and casey .. maybe coming back to the Buy More is JUST A COVER
