We’ve been wondering where the Casey spoilers were hiding, and it looks like they’re finally breaking free. Here’s the latest from Ausiello’s spoiler column:
Question: Please tell me you have some Chuck scoop. —Jake
Ausiello: I have some Chuck scoop. In episode 10, Casey does something bad. REALLY bad. Could-cost-him-his-job bad. And it’s connected to this [Robert Patrick's casting].
Juicy! What could Casey do that’s REALLY bad? And is it something he does NOW or something from the past (remember, Colonel Keller appears in flashbacks as well as current day)?

This will be interesting. Can’t imagine Casey breaking orders or anything that could be considered treasonous.

Treason: definitely not a part of Casey’s vocabulary. Breaking orders? On occasion. For example, in Marlin when he told Sarah to go find Chuck while he pursued Lizzy – despite Beckman and Graham’s orders to disregard Chuck.

Just a small spoiler, but Emmett will be “taken care of” in Ep. 1 of season three.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the ep ‘Undercover Lover’, a Casey ep. It gave more depth to this character and made him more likable. Casey rocks!

Hmmm. Casey have a personal vs. professional loyalty conflict, perhaps? We know he takes personal betrayal quite seriously given his difficulty in terminating Chuck, his anger at Miles, and his speech to Chuck in Colonel. Perhaps the government asks him to do something that crosses the line.

My guess here is, I think he has a vendetta against Robert Patrick’s character from something that happened in the past (which we discover in a flashback scene), and Casey takes out revenge on him in Ep. 10 (Chuck Vs the Tic-Tac.) Once he does, Beckman will not be very happy with him, and she will pull him off of Team Bartkowski. Again, just my guess.

I have a feeling Robert Patrick’s character will turn out to be Casey’s first boss in the military – Perhaps a company/platoon commander. He saved Casey’s life in the past and needs a favour from Casey, which will require Casey to bend the rules or break the law.

I’d like that, I wouldn’t want Patrick’s role to be of a villain…
he’s too good of an actor to be dismissed as Ring baddie…

Yes, and by being an old friend vice bad guy, it would open the door for return visits.

Yes, ‘Undercover Lover’ was a real look at Casey’s tender and romantic side. Loved it! Whatever Casey is going to do, I know Adam will sell it

What I really like about this spoiler is that it has brought out nothing but positive comments.
It is so refreshing to see all the Chuck fans excited about a bit of news.
On the NBC boards, I am now staying away from the “Angst Vs True Lies” thread. At this point I want to think happy thoughts about Chuck.

I have read of a rumor that Adam Baldwin is leaving the show which is connected
to the Robert Patrick guest star episode. The rumor is Patrick is in fact joining the show and Baldwin is leaving. Is there any truth to this? Please
comment.
