Firefly Reunion Will Happen In Chuck 3.12

If you watch any TV outside of Chuck there is an upcoming guest star whom you may not recognize by name but you surely will once you see him, Mark Sheppard. Mark has guest starred on almost every TV show currently on the air, cable and network.
Need proof? Here is a partial listing of his guest star appearances:
Star Trek Voyager, JAG, CSI:NY, 24 – multiple appearances, Medium, NCIS, Medium, Burn Notice, BSG, Dollhouse, Warehouse 13, White Collar, CSI, and SuperNatural.

Oh by the way, he also appeared in another fan favorite show – Firefly. So this will be a reunion for him and Adam Baldwin.

As per Mark’s twitter: Starting a Chuck arc this week with the wonderful @tinroof.
tinroof is Jeremiah Chechik, a regular Chuck director.
Does this mean that Mark is in more than one episode? This post will be updated once further confirmation is received. Also unknown is what his role is. My best guess is he will be playing the cop as listed in the 3.12 Chuck Vs The American Hero casting sides.

Really looking forward to Mark’s appearance. He is a great actor and will, no doubt, be a superlative guest star.

Firefly is definitely worth watching, as is Serenity. It’s my favourite show
Firefly only has 14 episodes, as it was prematurely cancelled by Fox (don’t even get me started grrrrr….)

I like Mark. He usually plays a dark character. Like you said if this is an arc and he is starting in 3.12, will he be in the extra 6 as well?
Doubtful since the 6 will be a new storyline. More likely if Mark is doing an arc it would end in 3.13.
Mark is a talented actor, he did a lot of guest appearances in many shows.
His arch of characters does seem to fall more on to the role of the villain, and I hope that this role in CHUCK will not perpetuate his type-casting.
He is the son of the noted Character actor W.Morgan Sheppard .
Now if they could just get Summer Glau to appear as well. I wouldn’t mind if Nathan Filion and Morena Baccarin also came on the show, but doubt they would as they are both doing shows for ABC.
