Good job, Chucksters! Chuck won E!’s annual Save One Show poll with a whopping 52% of the votes, compared to just 20% going for second-place show (and sometime timeslot competitor) One Tree Hill. Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz made the following statement to E! after the results were announced:
“We are so thankful that our fans voted for Chuck in such a huge way. Though we are also a little frightened of their ability to control the Internet. Our fear aside, we are honored to have the greatest fans in the history of television.”
Watch E! News tonight at 7/6c to see Chuck crowned the winner. Also, as promised, Kristin will be taking the results directly to Jeff Zucker at NBC to show how much fans want a fourth season. Last but not least, here’s Zachary Levi reacting to the results:

I feel proud as a Chuck fan to know we pulled through.
Chuck makes us all happy to watch and now we’ve given something back to them – a fourth season hopefully!
Nothings gonna mess with Chuck as long as we stay loyal and show just how much we care about this show.
NBC, I think 52% shows just how much Chuck is loved. Don’t let your viewers down, give us a fourth season!

I feel privileged to be a fan of this show along with all the other passionate Chuck fans, and we should be proud for what we’ve just shown NBC…
There was an article I read that listed all the different single elements that make this show great – cast, directing, soundtrack etc etc. But they missed out one – the die hard fans that care enough to do whatever they can to save a show that apparently doesn’t have that big a fan base. But we’re definitely the fan base with the biggest heart!

What does winning mean? Is it that the E! people will tell NBC that Chuck seems to be very popular online and that Chuck deserves to stay? Is it more of a put in a good word or make a huge impact on whether Chuck gets saved? Either way it would be awesome, but I’m hoping for the second one

I’m so glad chuck won. I noticed that many people on the E!news SOS are pissed, saying that it won last year when clear One tree hill won. I figured that they thought chuck won was cause of the grass roots ideas that took place which caught their attention.

Im glad my fans were able to help, although we didn’t manage to save Winter for Wii, we were shy by 2,500 votes. Still I don’t know how many votes came from my camp. I don’t think I was able to tap into my 17 k legion. But Im confident that 1K voted. So, let’s exhibit some of that internet prowess and promote the show and drive those ratings up. I wrote an open letter to Nielsen Families and posted it on FB, sending it out to all my friends who reposted it, sending it out to all their friends, etc. Sometime soon that posting will cross the monitor of someone who is rating for Nielsen. What’s your plan?

Quite honestly, I’m a little nervous right now.
On the blog Kristen said something to the extent of “I see some of you in the comments mentioning that Chuck won last year. It was actually Terminator in 2009 and this is Chuck’s first win”.
Well this is good and bad for Chuck, because although we won, it really doesn’t mean anything because DO WE SEE TERMINATOR ANYMORE?
Hopefully E! can try and flex their muscles to get another season for us, but we can’t count on them alone. We need to come together, get our friends watching, and make sure we catch the show when it airs live, because quite frankly, HULU doesn’t help the Chuck cause.

I know that terminator isn’t anymore, although it won. And I loved the show, but Chuck is by far better that terminator. So hopefully, the history won’t repeat itself, and we will actually see at least another season of Chuck. With all the fans that this show has, NBC must be out of their minds not to renew it. I cannot watch it live either (I’m from Europe) but I voted and I hope that those who have the chance WATCH IT LIVE!!!!!!!!

It’s worth noting that 1) Terminator was on Friday nights and 2) had terrible ratings on a network that generally ranks in first or second place (versus NBC’s fourth place).

A pretty poorly kept secret. Someone at E! put up Zac’s acceptance video on the Canadian E! website on Saturday. As Sarah might say he/she made an oopsy.
I guess with the votes so far in the lead they figured they could film it early.
Since NBC knows how crazy us Chuck fans are, I wouldn’t be surprised if they wait until the last minute to announce the renewal.
After all they are getting all sorts of free publicity from us.
As long as it’s renewed, I can live with that.

This is a good win. A battle won, but the war is far from over.
The only thing that matters to NBC is the ratings. The ratings drive the advertising rates they can charge while the episodes air. The advertising rates dictate the profitability of the show. Competition is fierce, not just from the shows that are on the air right now, but from the new shows that have been commissioned for next year.
Bottom-line: Watch the show live, talk to the Nielsen families you know, and lets show NBC we are here.

but I dont think, that NBC is going to announce the 4th season of Chuck
before Chuck Season 3 ends, because than the Fans would know that nothing serious happens to chuck or somebody else of the show

I’m Happy that we won but like Chuckster said, “The war is not over”. The biggest problem right now is the 3 million fans that they lost because of that mid season castatrophy done by c/f and company and as an old fan of heroes and OTH myself, once you lose interest in a show it can be extremely difficult to get back in to it. Another big problem is that the people who did give Chuck a try in season three and didn’t bite will less likely give it another shot. But I guess what we can do as fans, is on April 26 we need to invite a friend to come and watch with us and let it spread that way

It would also help to watch the reruns, too. The ratings for the last rerun, this past Monday, were… underwhelming. Those ratings count, too, and this is a bad time for those numbers to be dropping.

AUSSIE FAN HERE! Chuck is the best show on TV and i’ve got all my friends onto it. Its not on Free-to-Air though since Channel 9 dumped it and Foxtel picked it up. Wish i could influence the ratings more but am happy to be able to vote in this poll to prove that everyone has their say!
