In a new interview with Give Me My Remote, Chris Fedak reveals that he named Baby Awesome after his own daughter, at his wife’s insistence. I saw his wife and baby at Comic Con last year, but now I cannot remember the little one’s name! Curses!
Fedak also reiterates that the proposal will happen soon and is cautiously optimistic about a fifth season.
These are great! It’s really sweet that he would use his daughter’s name as Baby Awesome’s!. Proposal soon! Alright hoping it’s tonight (fingers crossed). Nothing would make tonight’s return better 🙂 (I’m grinning from ear to ear). It’s times like these I wished I lived on the East Coast.

Sadly Chuck’s in danger of cancellation.. but here’s hoping that Chuck can skirt by again due to the big support from the fans.
Chuck is NOT in danger of cancellation. I know which comment your referring to; keep in mind that that ratings “reporter” has said Chuck should be canceled pretty much every week since it premiered. If everyone that watched the show in real time would go back and watch it again at nbc.com, the network would notice those numbers. It’s beginning to dawn on them that Neilsen does not tell the whole story.
“Cautiously optimistic about a fifth season.” Baby there better be a fifth season or I’m going to form a personal vendetta against NBC for ruining my Mondays and the whole rest my week. Who’s with me?
i am totally with you 100%, Chuck is one of the best shows on TV and i look forward tro every monday just because of that. If chuck were to be cancelled i honestly do not know what i would do on a monday. i had massive withdrawal symptoms for the 7 weeks over christmas. absolute loved last nights episode with some of the greatest chuck and sarah moments ever.
Its sounds funny when I say it but “I can’t wait for the weekend to end” …. I know I should get my head examined.

I see on Fedak’s bio on NBC that his wife’s name is Lisa (source of Sarah’s real middle name?) but no mention of their daughter. Thanks for the good news that the proposal will be sooner rather than later. My guess it’s part of the last ten minutes of episode 13. That would really make it one of the best episodes of the series!
