SpoilerTV has the short synopsis for Chuck 4.18, “Chuck vs. the A-Team”. This episode airs March 14; Chuck will not air March 7 because NBC is relaunching The Event that night with a 2-hour special. (Expect at least 2 more weeks without new episodes this spring; there are 11 Mondays left this season and 8 episodes of Chuck.)
Chuck and Sarah suspect Casey is carrying out private missions; Chuck fears the CIA’s new operatives will render him obsolete; Morgan settles in with a new roommate; Awesome becomes uncomfortable with Ellie’s research.
I bet that the new cia operatives are intersects and so with them being intersects that makes chuck less unique. But at the same time Ellie is researching her dads laptop and I assume with devon being nervous it is spy related, i.e. making the intersect better…… I think Ellie will make chucks intersect better then the ones in the new intersect people and thus chuck is again unique because he will have a better intersect and better access to it and it will be safer and more efficient. Wild speculation but I am going with it!
A better Intersect.. an Intersect 3.0 must have telekinesis capability and maybe mind control.. but telekinesis is a must.. mind control that works only sometimes would allow the show to give Chuck some goofy moments trying to use it maybe on Casey or on Sarah and the feature doesn’t work at times…
Telekinesis would turn Chuck into a real superhuman with unique strength. Would the show look too much sci-fi like Heroes? Yes and no. Telekinsesis and mind control research has been going even before Hitler and CIA, NSA and military with DARPA kept spending billions on it thru the years, surely they achieved results unknown to the public.. The Interesect 3.0 could show a bit of speculation on what it has been achieved so far..
I agree that would be rather wild, but interesting at least. Maybe they should let you direct an episode or 2 hahah.
Oh no It looks like Casey might actually be working with a new crew. A crew of super agents! But this is Chuck, this A Team can’t possibly be what it seems. That’s just a rule.
My guess is that this new team is not what it first appears. Casey, Chuck, Sarah and Morgan will learn (most likely the hard way) that Team Bartowski is second to none because of the trust and sense of family that they share.
Stupid Event. That show is already dying yet NBC is keeping it on the air and me away from CHUCK. 🙁
I hate when the show has breaks. Hopefully this winds up being the only break left this season.
It won’t be. As noted above, there are 11 Mondays left in the season and only 8 episodes of Chuck. We’ll have at least 3 Mondays without a new episode.
Maybe those other Mondays would be Mondays after the season finale.
Is a two-hour season finale a possibility? If so, then there may be another week off beforehand. I would trade a week now to get a two-hour episode at the end…
I have schedule interferences that would prevent me from seeing the second hour if we get a 2 hour finale. Due to work. Hopefully those other mondays are after chuck is done (season 2 did end in april)
I think its just a “story” for the end of the season where casey joins a new team, i bet he returns to the chuck team.
I’m glad Casey’s getting more attention. Can’t wait to see Morgan’s reaction to Casey cheating on him with another team.
I wonder if the Intersect 3.0 is about to surface. It appears that Robin Givens’ character “Jane Bentley” may be part of Volkoff in some capacity. I am curious if Casey is being tricked by this new agent. Chuck vs. the Masquerade portrayed NCS Agent Jane Bentley as ominous (at least she seemed malevolent to me). I do not know what would drive Ellie towards an information crusade; however, I hope to find out soon.
No offense but mostly all of government head spooks are “ominous” at the exception of Beckman that she is rather open in her menace lol.
I guess my only question is what can they upgrade with the Intersect 3.0? The 2.0 gave Chuck the ability to perform “tasks” on the fly. The original was just a giant information database. What other “powers” could you give Chuck at this point that would still be realistic yet give him a distinct advantage?
Intersect 3.0 will allow Chuck to be the best husband to Sarah, and all the information he needs to know on being a future dad, haha
Not happy the Event will be on instead of Chuck–just one more interruption—Guess I should be thankful we have Chuck for at least a little while longer.
Umm, i thought more people knew this but, Casey new team that is being lead by Jane Bently (Robin Givens) are 2 of the past GRETA’s (Isiah Mustafa) and (Stacy Kiebler). There was a picture that was tweeted, that showed Casey in the same outfit as them and the caption of the picture said the new spy team on the block.
