NBC has released the longer official synopsis for episode 4.18, “Chuck vs. the A-Team”:
CHUCK FEARS THAT CASEY HAS A SECRET THAT MAY SPLIT UP THE TEAM — ROBIN GIVENS, STACY KEIBLER AND ISAIAH MUSTAFA GUEST STAR –Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) investigate when they suspect that Casey (Adam Baldwin) is carrying out private missions. Meanwhile, Chuck fears that the CIA’s seemingly-perfect new operatives (guest stars Isaiah Mustafa and Stacy Keibler) will render him obsolete. Elsewhere, Morgan settles in with a new roommate, and Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) panics when Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) embarks on a potentially dangerous line of research. Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay and Bonita Friedericy.
This episode airs Monday, March 14 at 8/7c.

So Bentley’s “A-Team” is Casey + GRETAs? This ought to be good…
I swear if by “perfect agents” they have “new intersects” I will be disappointed.
I’m wondering if it is somehow similar to the Intersect technology or is based on it, but works differently somehow…I don’t think they’d just have them be additional v2.0 Intersects like Chuck and Shaw are.
Do you suppose that Morgan’s new room mate will be Casey?
Who could Morgan’s new roomie be? If it’s not Alex, could it be Jeff or Lester? Or his new “dad” Big Mike? Maybe he’ll bunk down at Casey’s. Or perhaps a new character, if budget allows.
Hm… Looks like Alex won’t be Morgan’s new room mate. Interesting.
Is Ellie researching whether or not Chuck is truly out of the CIA?
Maybe the NCS hires her for neurological research, when they find out she’s Orion’s daughter.
Poor Chuck, fearing he might be rendered obsolete by the Old Spice guy. Chuck! Tell Casey you love him before it’s too late!
I recall that when Chuck hugged Casey, Casey threatened to separate Chuck from his “man parts”. Chuck would want to choose the moment carefully to tell Casey he loves him.
The line about Ellie’s research intrigues me. I’m thinking Ellie will find out about Chuck’s spy life in this episode. Maybe even find out about the intersect.
I’m still waiting for them to address the intersects neurological “problem” that Ellie fixed on her dad’s laptop and if it might figure into the seasons finale.
I thought the “problem” was that it couldn’t be accessed?
Ellie said that her dad was having problems because he was going at it from an engineering point of view instead of a neurological one, and that she “fixed it” in the first 20 minutes the worked on it. It’s only after that that chuck reloads the intersect. My first guess when she said that was that she might have done something about the intersects overheating problem. I’m hoping it figures into the seasons finale whatever it is.
The human, caring side of Chuck will win the day over the seemingly robotic new agents. The agents will be on a mission where the calculated plans do not take into consideration the human side of the equation–this is all a big guess and my guesses are usually wrong but what the heck–lets all speculate what Chuck’s edge will prove to be.
This episode has a lot of potential to be one of the best in season 4, if not the series in all. The secret, potentially dangerous research by Ellie, and Casey having a new team, it has the making to be epic.
I wonder if and when we will see a preview for this episode. Has anyone seen one for this episode yet?
