The title of this episode still makes me giggle. And the preview (below) certainly fits with the “mwahahaha” tone set by the title. Chuck & Sarah go all Bonnie & Clyde!
CHUCK AND SARAH PLAN THE ULTIMATE HEIST AT A HIGH-SECURITY BANK—LAUREN COHAN AND RAY WISE GUEST STAR—Chuck (Zachary Levi) pushes Vivian McArthur (guest star Lauren Cohan) to get in touch with her inner villain for a mission. Elsewhere, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) tries to get in touch with her inner bride as wedding plans ramp up. Meanwhile, Morgan’s (Joshua Gomez) search for a new roommate takes an unexpected turn. Adam Baldwin, Sarah Lancaster, Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay, Mark Christopher Lawrence and Bonita Friedericy also star.
“Chuck vs. the First Bank of Evil” airs tonight at 8/7c on NBC. While we wait for the heist, and to discover who Morgan’s new roommate might be, take a look at the promotional stills for this episode, rewatch last week’s episode, be sure you’re signed up at RewardTV so you can participate in the viewer survey tomorrow and be counted, and be sure to join us for the live chat beginning at 7:45/6:45c below.

I wonder if we’re going to find that Volkov’s daughter is Chuck’s half-sister. She could be the evil half that resurrects her father’s empire… or perhaps that was too obvious?

Timeline doesn’t fit with MamaB being Vivanne’s mother. She was with Volkoff for 20 years and Vivianne is supposed to be around 25.

Along with that Chuck’s Mom basically swore she never was intimate with Volkoff. So unless the whole “trust mom” storyline takes another step backwards it would also go against that.

I don’ t believe it. Volkoff seems awfully possessive of a supposidly ” Platonic ”
Collegue.

Timeline? Pfftt. This is Chuck, they don’t need to stick to no fricken timeline.

Right-o. Ever since the start of this season, they have completely dispensed with temporal consistency. ;P

That’d just be waaaaaay too convoluted. While it may have worked for Austin Powers and Dr. Evil it won’t work here. Please Mr.s Fedak and Schwartz, don’t go there!!

What an episode!!! I liked the way the show had Sarah and Ellie doing a little bonding. And how Sarah really understands now that she is marring Chuck!! I love it. Little V is about to turn bad and it was expected. I can not wait till the next episode. ( not sure how I can stand a week without CHUCk). We will soon see what will happen!! Thank u to all that make CHUCK happen and stay going. I love you all!!! ROCK ON CHUCK!!!!!

I love the theme of this episode of creating monsters; Ellie creating a wedding nightmare in Sarah and the CIA possibly creating one in Vivian. I have a weird theory but certain things about this episode had me thinking. I have not noticed the cigar store Indian in an episode before. Maybe I missed it or maybe it was there for a reason. I was trying to think of other films with a cigar store Indian that it might be a reference from and what I came up with was the movie Something Wicked This Way Comes, which I thought would be an awesome subtle (as subtle as a cigar store Indian can be) hint at the possibility of Vivian taking up where her father left off. I am probably totally off but it would be cool and wouldn’t surprise me.

Loved the ” magic wardrobe ” machine. Super Spy Sarah didn’t
notice the bullet holes in the wedding dress before she put it
on? She really must be in a pre nuptials haze.

We don’t get a new Chuck for 2 weeks, so they pimped out something premiering this week instead. Annoying, but not abnormal.

Just had to give a ‘thumbs up’ because your annoyance come through when using the term ‘pimped out’. Good one Mel. =0)
