NBC has released the official synopsis for Chuck episode 4.22, “Chuck vs. Agent X”:
CHUCK’S BACHELOR PARTY GETS OUT OF HAND WHEN SOME UNINVITED GUESTS ARRIVE – RAY WISE GUEST STARS – Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) put aside spy work to have a weekend of debauchery, but Awesome’s (Ryan McPartlin) plans for Chuck’s big night don’t go quite as expected. Meanwhile, Ellie’s (Sarah Lancaster) investigation into her father’s computer leads to a life-changing discovery. Joshua Gomez, Sarah Lancaster, Adam Baldwin, Scott Krinsky and Vik Sahay also star.
Looks like evil Volkoff lawyer Riley is back, and maybe, just maybe Ellie finds out that Chuck is the Intersect? Tune in May 2 at 8/7c to find out!

Whenever it says they finally decide to “put aside spy work” you can bet that they are certainly NOT going to follow through with that plan.

I’m waiting for an interview to come out with JS and CF where they tell us that what Ellie discovers will be a “game changer”.
Kidding aside, this looks like another great episode.
I don’t know what the future holds for this show, but if this is the last season, I think as fans we can look back on it and say – wow they really gave us a great final season.
Personally, I’m hoping I wont be doing that for a few more seasons, but for now, I intend to enjoy the rest of this great season.

I’m still betting that Agent X is Orion.
I mean, think about it. In Push Mix, Volkoff was terrified that Orion may still be alive, so terrified he took Frost to the Contessa and had that other guy (forget his name) track down where Orion was hiding, and now this “Agent X” is “the only person Volkoff was ever afraid of?”
Seems way too coincidental. Sure, Orion died, but no one really ever stays dead in the sci-fi world. Remember the golden rule: no one’s really ever dead unless you actually confirm it (i.e., funeral with visible body, check for pulse, etc.), and Orion’s death was not “confirmed.”
His name was Armand, and when I rewatch the scene where Volkoff reads his screen and it says Orion I still get chills. Sometimes my eyes even water. I was hoping he was still alive. I believe that he is. Remember that he was shot mere feet from the lab where Shaw was brought back from the light. Saying all of this, I agree Mel, I think that Agent X is Papa B, and Elle may have “reactivated” him with her research. If he isn’t, I think that it is Chuck.
The only problem is, why would they make Chucks father be Orion who is later known as Mr. X. If Mr. X had a bigger badder rep than Orion what would be the point? It would be nice to see Chucks father back though, he really made the show in a way I can’t explain, but it was already announced last summer that he wasn’t coming back at all this season, that they were going to leave him dead at least for now. Ellie does seem like the obvious Mr. X choice though. I can’t see them bringing in a new character this late in the game expecting us to magically fall head over heels even if it was something as radical as Chucks twin brother, Sarahs Sister/Mother, etc. Has to be someone we know already.
Maybe Agent X is someone we haven’t seen before.
Maybe they’ve hired a new actor to guest star in the role.
In my opinion it would be better than having Chuck, Orion or Ellie being Agent X.
Hello, at the end of the episode 4*19 , the laptop scans the presence of Ellie and gives her to “Agent X” files , in episode 4*20 we learn that the Agent X files reffers to the intersect , so altough Orion might come back in this season or the next one , i think that Agent X is Chuck . Also is possible that Ellie might be joining the CIA sometime in the future.
Ellie can find out chuck is the intersect?? Norseman can be dangerous for bartowski family???

ive not long seen a clip of chuck episode 22 chuck versus agent X it looks like this episode is going to be a great one with all the action it seem’s sarah told chuck that he should speak to ellie and tell her he is still a spy and also tell her about he has got the intersect in his head and ellie turns round and say yr not the first one and the look on sarah’s face is pricless i see this on nbc.com website
