SPOILERS: Is a Chuck Death on the Horizon?

Hot on the heels of the spoileriffic fan photo from yesterday comes scoop from EW.com on the final episodes of the season, including news of a possible death and maybe torture. Gee, that sounds fun.

Let’s not be any more cryptic than we have to: Chuck has a lot in store for the finale [sic] episodes of the season, and between the bachelor(/ette) parties gone wrong (CIA action!), last-minute wedding details (and missions), and possible tragedy (dun, dun, dun), I don’t even know where to begin….With the tragedy, you say? You got it. (How morbid you are…).

The terrible event takes place the night before Chuck and Sarah’s big rehearsal dinner and sadly involves “someone we love,” says a source. I know, your mind probably went exactly where mine did upon hearing this: Does this mean we’ll say goodbye to a member of Operation Bartowski? Sadly, it could mean just that. Chuck co-creator Chris Fedak said nothing to help quell my fears either.

“Death is definitely a possibility,” he said in an email. “Remember: we killed Stephen Bartowski in our penultimate episode last year…” Devestating. [sic]

In an unrelated but equally squirm-worthy tease, Fedak said all the bachelor party hijinks that have been teased are only part of the craziness that will occur. “We’ll say this… one of the partygoers (someone who isn’t a spy) may find himself being tortured by Ray’s men,” he said.

Note: “Ray” is referring to Ray Wise who plays Volkoff Industries lawyer Riley.

Chuck vs the Goodbye: 10 Years Later

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the Chuck series finale. It feels like a decade …

  1. Well, right there in that article, we see the slow demise of the English language. 😉

I gasp and do my “oh-noes” at the slightly dramatic endings we’ve had lately. This is going to be hard on the old ticker, whatever it is. 😛

  2. We saw the set picture. I think sarah will be shot. Chuck will return for revenge. Someone we love is sarah I think. I wish it was chuck:((

    • It might be interesting to see Chuck go all “Giant Brown He-male” on whoever shot Sarah. We’ve seen smart Chuck capture Volkoff. We’ve seen turn the other cheek Chuck capture Shaw after he shot PapaB. We’ve seen lots of nerdy, incompetent for no apparent reason Chuck (a lot). Now, it’s be nice to see a “I’m Chuck Bartowski. You shot my fiance. Prepare to die.” pissed off Chuck.

  3. My guess is that Sarah will die, it’s just a feeling I have. If they would kill Sarah they would most likely kill my interest in the show too, anyroad I hope we’ll have a happy end like a marriage in the hospital or something.

    • There is no way that they will kill Sarah, Chuck is predominantly a feel good show and there is no way that they would finish the season on such a thing. I can agree that she might get injured however hence the hospital and they could leave her condition as the cliffhanger but I think even that just way to dark for this show.

    • Agreed. Kill Sarah or put her in a coma, and as far as I’m concerned, Season Five should never happen. Doing that shows no respect for the fans, nor for the characters.

  4. We already saw Sarah end up in the hospital. No way in hell she dies or there will be no season 5 rgardless of renewal.

  5. I think the show will be ruined if any of the central characters die and I hope that the writers, execs etc realise that and don’t go there. Having said that, it’s the kind of move they often make and I always hate it. I’ve been worried for a while that Chuck might follow the tradition and become a much darker show or leave fans with a bitter taste if this is the end. I’ve really enjoyed Chuck over the years and would hate that to be the way it ends! The Chuck team have always done right by their fans before, so I just hope we can trust them with this too.

    • I don’t know about ruined. There are shows that have proven that, when done well, you can kill someone and keep a show strong. Trust me, I don’t want to see anyone die, either, but what I like about “Chuck” is that it remains a “feel good” show without being afraid to push into the dark a little. That’s what keeps it from moving to far into the Ridiculous Zone, which I show like this could do easily. I like the balance of light and dark that the show runners maintain and trust that they can keep that going into next(?!) season.

  6. A crazy thought – it could be Ellie. Sarah Lancaster is pregnant, after all and maybe there is something they are not telling us about her continuation on the show. And it would also mean a huge impact at everybody, most of all Chuck (it would certainly change him).
But I don´t want anyone to die – and if someone should really go, then someone of BuyMorons who are not too important for the story anymore. Or Morgan – his storyline got a little boring this year because he switched from “I am a stalker of Chuck” to “I started to live a life of John Casey”…

    • y’know, I was thinking the same thing! The actress is pregnant, so they have to have some excuse to remove Ellie from the show (at least temporarily) if a season five were to come about.

    • That theory doesn’t seem crazy to me at all. I’ve been thinking that ever since I read this spoiler a few weeks ago. In the evidence aspect, Ellie looks really good for this. Sarah Lancaster is pregnant, which means they have to give her a break somehow, and right now they have Ellie aggressively going down a path that’s just begging to result in disaster. It would also change Chuck also obviously. Also, for people who think it’s a member of the Team, I highly doubt this for the simple reason that without Chuck, Sarah, and Casey, there’s no show. Period. So as long as the possibility of renewal exists, they can’t afford to kill any of them off because it would kill the show immediately. Notice I didn’t mention Morgan in the above. If they were going to kill of a member of the team, he’s the only possibility since he’s not really trained as a spy. For Beckman, who knows?

  7. It’s totally Mama B! Linda Hamilton is a guest star, but we all love her. This would make it so they don’t have to bring her back next season, but people aren’t always wondering where she is. Also Sarah probably gets hurt trying to save Mama B, and that’s why she is in the hospital.
My other guess is that Volkoff never knew Agent X’s real identity, just like he didn’t know Orion. Can’t wait for all of it to unfold.

  8. It’s quite simple really.

    No Sarah = No show.

    • I agree. The balance of Chuck and Sarah’s personalities is the central dynamic of the show. I seriously doubt they would kill her off.

    • Even though I am not one of Sarah´s fans (I honestly think she became a little annoying) I agree. She and Chuck are the central couple, fans love them and I doubt they would kill her, or any of the “main three” for the matter.

      • On Transformers3 they are going to remove Mikaela Banes character that was played by Megan Fox that they fired with a silly “she dumped Sam Witwicky” thing.. and the two characters after the first two movies became as one..
On The Dark Knight movie they changed the actress playing Rachel firing Katie Holmes and getting Maggie Gyllenhaal that delivered zero chemistry on screen with Bale and during the movie they killed the character that got ruined and trashed rather quickly.
So.. killing Sarah and having Yvonne Strahovski replaced with a new actress playing a new love interest for Chuck is an option they might have decided to follow just like other bigger productions already did.
The result is probably going to be awful just like on Transformers3 and The Dark Knight but that won’t stop studio/network managers and producers..then they will blame some poor guys that will get fired for that when it won’t work and people will dislike it.
The Dark Knight got lucky with WarnerBros being able to market the dead actor as a major selling point, otherwise the whole Rachel character thing would have been enough to turn the movie into a box office disaster.

      • Uh. No. Apples and oranges, Joseph. Not gonna happen. (Also, the Transformers recasting was because Megan Fox wanted more money; she was expendable – they just need a pretty face, not someone who can act – so they recast the role.)

      • Agreed re apples and oranges. Leaving aside acting abilities, the female leads in Batman and Transformers were not core parts of the store, nor were their relationships with the male lead.

      • I’m not sure where you got your info. on the Dark Knight, but it’s wrong. Katie Holmes wasn’t fired. She just didn’t want to do it. Also, killing Rachel Dawes off wouldn’t have killed the movie. Why? Because the way they did it made sense so people accepted it. Also, for Transformers, Megan Fox wasn’t fired. She cut her ties with it. Although, I have to admit that I wouldn’t have been surprised if she had gotten fired because Megan Fox is a terrible actress anyway.

  9. I’ve seen main characters killed before in some of the other tv shows I watch. But, with Chuck, I doubt any of the main characters are gonna die. I am guessing it might be Chuck’s mom, but that’s just my feeling. But, if it is a main character…then I will cry. Here’s what I think if it is gonna be a main character: It’s definitely not gonna be Morgan. I just know that. And, it can’t be Chuck, because if it was, then there is no way they would possibly come back with a season 5. If it’s Sarah, then that would also be random because Chuck loves her and he cannot live without her. They once again probably wouldn’t come back with a season 5. Now, Casey…that would be my guess. Although I do highly doubt that any of the main characters will die, but if it is, I think Casey. But I really hope not because I LOVEEEE Casey. Again, I don’t think it will be any of the main characters because how can the team go on without Casey? I’m still guessing it’s Chuck’s mom.

  10. What if it is Big Mike or General Beckman?

  11. Perhaps Sarah is shot and it has to APPEAR as if she is dead. So they have the big funeral to smoke out whoever shot her and BAM there she is – still alive! I think this is the only scenario where they could actually kill off one of the Operation Bartowski members. And since they are saying it is one of the team members it could only be one of four – Sarah, Casey, Chuck or Morgan. Maybe Beckman???

  12. Hi All,

Regards to a possible death to a main character – I don’t think it will happen the way we expect at all – I bet one of the agents may have to be “killed” off to go on a deep undercover mission – I’m thinking it will be Sarah (Vivian will have thought she killed her with the Norseman at the end of season 4 so it will have to be “offical” I.E Sarah Walker the agent will have to die).

I can see Chuck going with her and as a result I can see Chuck and Sarah having to go on the run. Chuck (the Character) will probably become Darker Spy wise (in that he will hold a grudge towards Vivian and will move away from “Spies like Us” vain and more towards the Jason Bourne franchise Spy wise – it would be nice to see. Sarah would have to try and prevent Chuck from going to dark. It might be an interesting way of bring Sarah’s Family into the fold in that maybe Sarah is part of a Mafia Family via Momma Burton (Which Jack Conned – Hence the break up) – and she is the Black sheep of the Family because she went into law enforcement. Now Chuck and Sarah have to use her family contacts and Team B to bring Vivian Volkoff down.

What do people think of that for a 5th season?

  13. oh, and by the way, it’s not possible for Sarah to die. Didn’t you guys see that picture? The one sign that said “Funeral and viewing 3pm, Bartowski wedding 4pm”? That means it’s not Sarah. Chuck cannot get married to a dead Sarah.

    • No, it just says “Bartowski wedding.” Doesn’t say Bartowski/Walker.

      • Maybe Papa B returns and marries Mama B for the second time at the end of the episode. Hence only Bartowski Wedding… 😉 “chew on that – lol”

      • I have chewed. I won’t mention the result in polite company.

      • I’ll be on standby for clean-up. I’m sure this episode will make sense of this strange sign. Or will it? lol…

  14. Theirs just no way they would kill sarah off, in the pic theirs no injury to anyone,i think this is just a red herring cos with no sarah on the show chuck would be OVER in alot of fans eyes

  15. It’s shouldn’t be that simple!! Sarah will be shot and chuck will take down volkoff or vivian… I’m expecting more unexpected situations!!

  16. Sarah will not die. There is no Chuck without Sarah.

  17. Did anyone else notice that the prenup had Sarah’s cover name mixed with her real middle name?

I wonder if they kill her alias off, so for a brief moment during the wedding chuck gets married to the real Sam not Sarah (I still don’t think her real name is Sam either). This would allow them to get legitimately married before taking on a new role and possibly a new long term mission as a married couple taking us through season 5 and opening the possibility of a new complete story arc, since the intersect is pretty played out.

  18. Maybe they will kill Bryce, again. You know… just for good measure. 🙂

All I know for sure, is that i’m going to stop watching, if Jeffery Barnes gets “offed”.

    • Yeah, he needs to die at least once every season… that’s what the show has been missing… hehehe

  19. Two thoughts: “Death is a possibility” – if it’s Sarah as we have seen in the set pic of her in hospital garb – the scenario could be she is badly injured and could die (death is possible), but then she recovers.

The other possibility – the only character I love that wasn’t present in that pic was Alex. Would they kill off Alex? I hope not.

I think the first sceanrio fits the spoilers we have seen so far.

  20. My money is on Devon Woodcomb biting the dust. That could open the way to Ellie entering the world of espionage.

    • Interesting Bob – completely out of left feild! Never thought of that. Not sure tho coz Awsome is well………. Awsome!!!!!

  21. Well, couldn’t it just be for mission? Like in another episode,( I completely forgot the name), Sarah went into a hospital with black hair and took down one guy…
    OR
The cliffhanger could be that Sarah may or may not be dead. That’d be cruel.

  22. If they kill Sarah, put her in a coma, or don’t allow Chuck and Sarah to marry, I frankly don’t care if the show renews; I’ll never watch it again. And, given the hints that they seem to be floating, while it may be good marketing to build a buzz, it’s making me less inclined to watch the show. Why? Because it reflects a Shaw-era mindset, and ignores that what makes this show something that draws many viewers is it’s not tragedy, but a mix of action, tension, comedy, romance, in which, at the end, the good guys win. If I want tragedy, I’ll watch CNN or read a Greek play.

(Hopefully not re-post — for some reason, not sticking)

    • Don’t worry, you won’t have to quit watching. The folks who make Chuck love Sarah as much as the fans do.

      • Hope you’re right. Right now, this “buzz” has left me not looking forward to the next episodes. Instead, it feels like walking into a hospice where a loved one is a patient, knowing that for all the person looks good and talks with you, in short order they will be gone. Irrational reaction to this? Sure. There we are.

      • I agree I was looking forward to the final 4 episodes. If they kill of Sarah it essentially says the entirety of the show was a waste since the show basically grew with Chuck and Sarah’s relationship. Killing it (whether or not it gets renewed) would end me watching the show simply because I don’t see how the show could ever recover.

If they are attempting to kill a major character simply to reduce the budget to increase a possible season 5. Kill Ellie, Awesome, or Casey first. In fact I think if Casey were to die after he was reunited with him family, the show could actually continue.

If Ellie or Awesome dies Chuck can still go for revenge or whatever without the absolutely destruction of the show.

      • I belive it was CF that said in a recent interview that they plan to wrap a lot of things up in a satisfying way.
I don’t believe we are going to see any of our main characters be killed off. The spoiler only says death is a possibility, not that there will be a death.

Based on the pic from the set, we know Sarah is going to be in the hospital. Its very possible that it will be touch and go for a while, but that she is saved by the surgical skills of one Dr. Woodcomb.

      • Given that the buzz (at least here) has switched from “How do we get Chuck renewed?” to “will the b**tards kill off or maim Sarah, or otherwise cause Chuck, Sarah and the fans unacceptable pain?”, one would hope that TPTB would recognize a tactical screw up and try to drop another round of hints to allay their fans concerns. In the real world, successful businesses try to grab the narrative, and right now, the narrative is not where I would expect the producers want it to go.

  23. Pulling for Sarah!

My guess is either Mama B or Papa Walker.

  24. My first inclination when I first heard about this was Mama B. The most probable reason it’s NOT Jack Burton is because he’s only been in two episodes (as of this Monday), and therefore not as sure we’d developed a “someone we love” relationship. Whereas Mama B has had her extensive story arc this season, and so her death would be a deeper impact on the characters.

  25. Well, might as well throw my two cents in here;

    1. CHUCK vs. The Cliffhanger – If you remember this was touted as a direct challenge to NBC. It means that if NBC doesn’t renew for S5, they can expect a LOT of angry fanmail. Ok, what would generate that? The apparent death of either Chuck or Sarah. It has to be one or the other.

    2. I agree with Sean that Sarah will be going deep undercover (possibly to bring down Vivian and Volkoff Industries once and for all and that Chuck will follow her.

    There you go!

    • BTW: If you’re one of the people looking for Tim Jones’ CHUCK Score Soundtrack CD, let’s put the pressure on WB. Go to http://www.wbshop.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-WB-Site/default/Page-ContactUs. That’s the WB online store and request how to pre-order the CHUCK Score Soundtrack CD. That might get the ball rolling!

    • Family has always been the main theme throughout the series of Chuck. As another contributer said Chuck’s Family have been pretty well covered… I Have altered my veiw slightly. I still think that Sarah’s family will be focused next season (if there is one). I can see Sarah being left in a coma at the end of this season and Chuck will be going to the Darkside as a result!! Where is my evidence for a statement for this you may ask?

When you look at the series of Chuck every other character has gone Dark at some point bar Chuck and Morgan [(who I cant see going that way because Chuck needs a Sam (which is Morgan) – (think Lord of the Rings Franchhise)]. John went Dark in Tic Tac, Awesome went Dark in Leftovers at the end returning the laptop, Sarah went Dark in Gobbler an Ellie went Dark in Family Volkoff. All that leaves is Chuck to go Dark (Think about this Chuck has NEVER gotten Angery) – Chuck’s Anger will probably more Dangerous!!!

Well I look at Chuck and Sarah’s relationship in which they are interdependent upon each other. Something happening to Sarah was alway likely and how would Chuck manage without her. Don’t forget at the beginning of Season 3 – Versus the Pink Slip Gen Beckman told Sarah that Her mission had changed from protecting Chuck from the world to protecting the World from Chuck. In Vs the Three words Chuck tells Sarah that he loves her.In Vs The Fake Name – Sarah comments on how easy it is for Chuck to live the lie. In Vs the Tic Tac Sarah asks Chuck to remain the guy she 1st met 3 years ago to which Chuck replies I will always that guy — However later in the same episode after Chuck has taken the drug he takes out Keller’s men almost Terminator like – Sarah manages to stop him at the last minute. And finally in the Living Dead – when Sarah handed Chuck her spy will just incase.

If Season 5 happen I can see Chuck becoming like Casey – Machine like – because of what has happened to Sarah. When Sarah has recovered She will notice the Change in Chuck – he’s using real Guns etc. I can see Sarah trying to restore “My Chuck”

      What do People think?

      • I do like this idea, seeing chuck dark side would be cool and sarah restoring him to her chuck is a great plan

      • Not a bad idea but it could still end with Ellie dying and having the same affect while at the same time not transgressing to essentially a backwards version of season 1.

I would see the advantage to this idea if Season 5 was guaranteed but since it’s not I’d rather them play it safe.

      • Interesting in the abstract, but I think many of us will walk away. Sarah dead/coma at end of this year is unacceptable, at least to me. While tension has been part of seasons, and while they leave teasers at the end of seasons, they’ve never left anything as devestating as you say: to do that to the fans would be abusive. Moreover, the arc you describe is at least as painful and ugly as the Shaw arc, and look how well that worked out.

For myself and my family, Chuck is not about tragedy. It may be a heros journey, but at the end, the good guys win, and it isn’t left open for months/weeks (that’s one reason I hated the Shaw stuff so much — everyone you cared about was in pain (or worse) for months, with no end in sight).

So, nice abstract sequence. Might even be fun for a movie cause it wraps up before you finish your popcorn. But personally, I’ll write an angry letter and go back to finding something else to do Monday nights. And wish the producers nothing but ill will.

      • I think the writers don’t care as we do. They forgot all this!!

      • Thanks for the comments guys – in fairness it only my opinion & what I’d like to see happen. Chuck probably woun’t go that way. What ever about Chuck going to the Dark side – I’d like to see Sarah’s family history explored next season (if there is one) for sure and Chuck learning who Sarah really is and helping her to come to terms with it. Heres to season 5!!

  26. Who thinks that maybe Chuck vs. the Cliffhanger will be something like, Agent X is an intersect program that hasn’t been unlocked in Chuck’s brain. With something happening to Sarah, Chuck needs something extra to save her, and the Cliffhanger leaves us with Chuck unlocking it, but we don’t find out what the new programming does for him until season 5…

  27. If Sarah dies the series was ruined. I hope the creaters/writers/producers have some type of brain cell in their head to not have that.

  28. Very interesting indeed!!!

  29. I’m wondering if the horrible event or death may happen to someone outside Team Bartowski…maybe one of the Buy Morons, Jeff or Lester or (gulp) Big Mike???

  30. Great idea, I was actually thinking about this earlier. Gen Beckman already proved that she does what’s necessary for the, let’s say, country. In my twisted mind, Sarah would really get injured, badlly, but get away with it, and Beckman would find a way to make everyone believes Sarah is really dead, including Chuck. Why would Beckman do this? Well, Ellie manage to finish the intersec, and Chuck is afraid in downloading it because he doesn’t know the effects. The cliffhanger could be about the intersect and a Dark Chuck seeking for revenge, but then I remembered that season 2 ended like this, well, not the revenge thing…. so.. I really don’t know haha

  31. If anything Fedak’s spoiler about the impending death of one of the characters is igniting a spark among the fans. Hopefully this will motivate people to watch the rest of the season live and get those who have lost some interest to return. Either way its just the kind of renewed interest that the show needs.

    • It may be igniting interest, but not good interest. How many seeing this are saying, “Gee, I am really really gonna want to see another season if they leave off this season with the leads (and fans) going through an unresolved hell, filled with death and an aborted wedding.”

Not a great way to build enthusiams.

      • And I think you’re overreacting to a scenario that has been teased but has a very, very slim chance of actually happening. Look at your arguments: she’s a regular; it would upset the fans; it would be too dark for this show.

Anyone who’s watched the show knows that Sarah is a series regular, and this show doesn’t kill off series regulars. (American TV in general rarely kills off regulars. British TV, though, no one is safe!)

It would indeed send the fans into an uproar, and not in a good way. Fedak and Schwartz have learned that lesson.

It would be too dark. The show has dabbled in darker themes in the last couple of seasons, but killing Sarah would be to shed the show’s tone and turn it into something else entirely, which isn’t what the network, advertisers, or fans signed on for. Unless they’re trying to force NBC to move them to 10PM.

In short, Sarah’s not going to die.

      • Me? Overreact?

      • I agree with Mel. British TV and maybe perhaps the final season of Ron Moore’s Galactica pretty much leave it so no series regular is ever truly safe. That’s exciting for those series.

However this is Chuck… and the rules are different. Anyone remember Bryce Larkin, Orion & Daniel Shaw. Yeah, they didn’t die like we were led to believe. I point you to what Morgan asked Chuck in an episode (paraphrased), “Did you check for brain matter?” If not, don’t count that character out, they’re likely going to be back.

  32. I think sarah may get shot trying to save the person who is being tortured by one of “Rays men” which most likely could be morgan! Cant see them killing off sarah because her and chuck are the show really!!

  33. What if the “kill” off Ellie/Devon/Clara because Ellie is Agent X and the only way to protect them is to put them into hiding until they have ended Volkoff Industries for good. This could be a possibility…

  34. Why did you cancel my post,uh?
I said nothing offensive or bad. Geez. It’s crazy.

    • Your comment from yesterday is posted; you may need to hit Ctrl+refresh to clear your cache and see it.

  35. I have always thought it will be Mama B. If they get a season 5 they’ll have a really tight budget. Unlike the main cast, she is not signed for season 5 and they will have to sign her. She was undercover in Volkoff’s organization and helped to bring him down. What better reason does Vivian have to get revenge and hurt Chuck?

    • Logical and probably the least inciting, but emotional, “terrible thing” they could pull off. (While it may not be a popular thing to say, I’ve been less than enthralled by some of the lines deliveries by Mama B during this season.)

    • I would think if the show gets picked up for a season 5 for the purpose of syndicating it with the magical number of episodes. The following will occur:

      A. Season 5 will see even less of a budget yet (will stay on pattern).
      B. Some cast members would be unlikely to come back (think minor characters).
      C. Guessing Zach, Adam, Yvonne, Josh, Sarah and Ryan would be safe since they are pretty much the core of the show.
      D. Less guest stars. Although I thought that about season 4 and the show has surprised the hell out of me with Timothy Dalton and Linda Hamilton. (Great job btw folks!)
      E. We get a 13-15 episode order.

  36. Can you really kill off both the Bartowski parents that’s seems to much of a retread

  37. Here is a thought what is Sarah’s Dad gets killed? I was watching tonight’s episode and I get looking at the Twitter photo of the Chuck family. Why else would Sarah been in the ER? Maybe she tried to avenge her father or something. There was a lot of false back bits between her and the father. Just saying. I think they kind have played out the whole we killed the father now lets do the mother. Although Mama B dying would make sense.

  38. Ok folks, quick thoughts… Why are we assuming that someone is actually going to die?

  39. Can someone please tell me where that picture of Sarah in hospital clothes is so I can see it? I try to seek out spoilers so I’m surprised that I haven’t seen this yet. Thanks.

  40. 1st time poster…enter series Chuck watcher. Here’s a thought – since Casey’s wife now knows that he is alive, there is no need for him to maintain his alias. Perhaps the death will be of the name John Casey…as he goes back to his real name.

  41. If I had to put someone as dying that was a main character, i’d say Casey. Only because he has been pushed to the side as a member of Team B. But then again it’d be dumb for the writers to make him go off to another team, just to come back and die. Really I won’t be surprised if it’s a fake death, it seems like all spoilers in the past have turned out to have a twist to what actually happens. The only spoiler I for sure saw coming was Orion’s death, but they for sure said that there would be a death in the finale. This its only referenced at with a picture and a quote that it’s “possible”.

For the record though every time there is a possibility of someone dying everyone always is afraid Sarah will die. She has yet to die in the past, and as said they would not go there. However, I could see the possibility of trying to delay the wedding as a cliffhanger, which would suck.
