Ali Adler Joins Glee Writing Staff

Former Chuck writer Ali Adler has a new home after ABC canceled No Ordinary Family: Deadline reports that she’s joining Glee as a writer and co-executive producer. Chuck fans who were hoping Ali Adler would return to the show may be disappointed, but as a Glee fan, I’m excited that she’s joining the show. Maybe now there will be some consistency and logic from episode to episode (and scene to scene). Good luck, Ali!

  1. NOoooooooooo!!!

  2. Good for her, a co`executive producer position @ Glee will sure help her career a lot. I liked her touches on Chuck i think she wrote & produced most of my favorite episodes from season2 🙂
But i didn’t like the way she jumped wagons for No Ordinary Family when Chuck`s future was uncertain.
So i`m not bummed about her not joining the Chuck crew for season5 🙂

  3. Here’s hoping for a Zach Levi guest spot on Glee! (Singing optional, but encouraged!)

  4. Agree that it’s disappointing she won’t be back for the final season, but this is great news for Glee. They definitely needs better writers.

  5. consistency? logic? That’s not what I watch Glee for! If I wanted consistency and logic I’d be watching PBS.

  6. Would’ve like her to come back, but i’m not going to cry over spilt milk.
Tho, i am hoping Matt Miller will be back.

  7. Since I love “Chuck” as much as I detest “Glee”, I find it hard to conceal my disappointment. But maybe Adler is just what “Glee” needs so that I can detest it a little less.
