Holy sci-fi babes, Chucksters, Carrie-Anne Moss is joining us this season! EW reports that the Matrix star will join Chuck‘s final season as Gertrude Verbanski, “a former spy who now runs Verbanski Corp, the chief rival of Chuck’s new spy company. She’s ruthless and deadly, yet she also has a weak spot for one John Casey — her old rival.”
Adam Baldwin joked that he wanted to be in the room when they were casting Gertrude, while Zachary Levi submitted Betty White’s name for consideration. I’m thinking Adam came out on top this time. No word on when Gertrude first appears, but she will be in multiple episodes this season.

Once again TPTB do an exceptional job with casting. I think its only fair they find a role for Betty White though – maybe as Jeff’s mom who escapes from prison. lol
