Friday Five: Things To Do When ChuckTV.net Is Down

Friday Five: Things To Do When ChuckTV.net Is Down

Did you miss us? Our cloud host went down Wednesday afternoon and it took more than 24 hours for the tech people to repair the issue, reboot the cloud, and synch all the VPS’s (VPSes? VPI?) so we could access the site again. FUN! (She said through gritted teeth.) So what does one do in between refreshing the site to see if it’s loading yet? I’m glad you asked!

  1. Rewatch the last 3 episodes of Chuck season 4 on Hulu – Mini-marathon time! And look, they have the new keyart for season 5 up already.
  2. Watch the season premiere of Castle – Some of you heard about this on Twitter yesterday. The rest of you can read the review on our sister site, NiceGirlsTV.com.
  3. Check out ZacharyLeviFan’s new look – The fansite recently revamped their layout, and it looks great!
  4. Read the latest in the Wil Wheaton/Bloggess saga – You know who’s awesome? Wil Wheaton, that’s who.
  5. Prep a brand new interview with Yvonne Strahovski – That’s right, we have an exclusive interview with Yvonne going live later today! Aren’t you glad we’re back?

That’s (a little of) how I handled the withdrawal. What did you do?

  1. Mel, I think we should officially adapt the pluralization protocol first used on 3.14.

Like the plural of Charles is now officially Charlesezes, the plural of VPS is hereby declared to be VPSezes.

    And thus it is written!

    ;)

Also, yes, Wil Wheaton is awesome.

    A new Yvonne interview? I CAN’T WAIT!!!

  2. Sobbed silently into my bowl of cheese balls while listlessly clicking “Refresh” of course. ;-)

  3. I think you would have been better off calling in the NERD HERD..lol

  4. I tried to figure out what was going on by, trying several computers, and found that one computer in the office still must have had the “old site in the cash as it came up with season 3 news!

  5. Grumble with Mel via Chat AND phone. Although, I did get a lot of other writing and organizing done too!
