Now that we have a smattering of photos from Chuck season 5, fans have been asking about a few of the items. Robin Lewis-West to the rescue! The Chuck costume designer took time out from working on the new season to answer fan queries, so let’s get to them.
Q. I’m just wondering where Sarah’s dress (from the 2011 EW Fall preview picture) came from. I know the episode hasn’t aired yet, but it looks gorgeous! Thanks! – Erin
A. Robin went couture for this look from the Chuck season 5 premiere, putting Sarah in the Jean Fares “Shine” gown. We snagged a full-length photo of Yvonne Strahovski wearing the gown on set from the JFC Facebook page, and it’s even lovelier than it appears in EW!
Q. Can you find out where YS shoes come from (the ones in the #ChuckS5 promo pics 🙂 thanks!! – @cawildone
A. You bet: Yvonne is wearing black peep-toe pumps from Nine West. Not quite as glam as her couture evening gown above, but every woman needs a pair of black high heels that not only look great but are appropriate for the office AND comfortable enough to chase bad guys, right?
Q. I really like Morgan’s shirt in the new cast photo. Can you tell me who makes it? – Janine
A. Robin put Joshua Gomez in a lavender Ted Baker shirt for his close up. He can get away with a more feminine color since it’s offset by his Man Beard.

Oh my gosh. The pictures are awesome! I thought I would have hated the fact that YS cut of her hair but it’s not so bad. Still annoyed though. But she makes up for it with the pretty dress.
