SPOILERS: Where In the World Is Team Bartowski?

E! Online has a little bit of scoop on Chuck season 5 in this week’s spoiler chat, namely where the action is going to be centered.

“Jason in Canton, Ohio: Chuck final season scoop?
Just prepare to stick around the Buy More a lot this season. “We are going back to basics, so we’re going to be at the Buy More a lot this season,” Mark Christopher Lawrence tells us.  Chuck owns it so now, so we’re there instead of all over the world fighting crime and spies and all that. We’re going to bring it right home.” Appropriate for the last season of Chuck, wouldn’t you agree?”

I suppose this make sense, especially if Gertrude Verbanski is also headquartered in the Los Angeles metro area.

Chuck vs the Goodbye: 10 Years Later

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the Chuck series finale. It feels like a decade …

  1. Yeah it does make sense. It will be nice to go back to basics for the final season. It gives us fans one last chance to see them have fun at the Buy More.

  2. I like when there’s various locations and countries. All the bad guys can’t be in LA

  3. Does that mean we will see the return of the Orange Orange?

Didn’t think so, but one can always hope.

  4. Does that mean Sarah’s going to need a job at the BUY MORE? I mean Chuck, Casey and Morgan have covers at the BUY MORE but Sarah has always been the girl that works across from the BUY MORE. Or the girl visiting her boyfriend/fiancee at the store.
Unless Chuck tells the staff that he bought the store they’re going to need a cover for Sarah cause i’m pretty sure she’s going to be there a lot more.

    • She could always be a permanent Greta or something. Also about Chuck telling the staff that he and Sarah bought it: I’ve been curious about that one for a while. If he does that (and he’ll probably have to because the Buymorons are going to wonder who the new owner is), what’s the first thing Jeff, Lester, and Big Mike are going to ask him? How did he get the money, of course. And what’s his answer supposed to be? We’ll find out. Since it’s the final season, I’ve been wondering if they would finally reveal the secret to the Buymorons, and this would be the first chance they have to do it. Also, I know this sounds optomistic, but if Chuck starts getting some 2.5s on Fridays, it may get a back order because right now NBC’s new shows are all free falling. The Playboy Club’s already been canceled after only 3 episodes. Of course, it did premiere at a 1.7. If Chuck’s ratings go up considerably, NBC’s going to notice quickly and since they are probably desperate for an hour long scripted show that actually gets decent ratings, they may have to give us a back order. I’m just saying that the way things are at NBC right now, nothing is certain, especially with Chuck’s new time slot.

  5. I have to say (as much as I loved season 4) I think I prefer the Buy More/LA centred action better and always have, to the globetrotting stuff. On an episode by episode basis, there are plenty I like with globetrotting, but I definitely prefer the feel of the home-centred episodes more.
