NBC put together an ode to the Chuck & Morgan bromance, best friends since before Morgan had a beard. Relive the magic, the nerdiness, the laughter, the fights, and the Star Wars references from the past four years. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to call my BFF.
I will never understand why the producers think fans actually give a crap about this so called bromance. The first three seasons are filled with Morgan giving chuck advise that really only benefits Morgan, and makes chuck look like an idiot. Season 4 was better regarding their friendship, but we still get crap like Morgan saying their wedding theme resembles communist colors, Really?. For me, the bromance has just been a plot device to make chuck look like a fool. It’s as if the producers like morgan more chuck. Every time chuck gets something new in the show, they at some point give give it to morgan, new job, maturity, the INTERSECT!!!!
And from the looks of the previews, it looks like chuck is going to have to share his wife with him as well. I know that is does not look like it, but i don’t hate the character, i just hate it that he is way overvalued by the showrunners.
Well I “give a crap about the so-called bromance”. Chuck needs Morgan as much as Morgan needed Chuck. And both of them grew during the past season, especially Morgan. And I didn’t see Morgan giving Chuck advise that Chuck actually acted on, so that would not make him look like and idiot. Morgan came through on more than one occasion to save the day in the last season, so I’m not sure if maybe you missed those episodes?

I think it was a sweet clip. Maybe people who have had a very close friendship like that can really relate to Chuck and Morgan, more than someone who perhaps hasn’t been so blessed. We got to watch this one grow and morph into something strong and valuable.

I will admit to enjoying some Chuck/Morgan moments in the past, but overall, it has never been a relationship I was able to relate to. I love Morgan’s loyalty to Chuck, but in terms of relationships on Chuck, I prefer Morgan’s relationship w/ Casey. Sorry if I offend with this.
