THR announced that Zachary Levi will host the Spike TV Video Game Awards which airs on December 10th. Details can be found at Spike.com. This should come as no surprise to Chucksters as we all know what a gamer Zach is, and he did voice-overs in [easyazon-link asin=”B002BSA20M”]Halo: Reach[/easyazon-link] and [easyazon-link asin=”B0028IBTL6″]Fallout: New Vegas[/easyazon-link]. Should be fun so don’t miss it!

    This is very cool news; the Spike VGA’s have a reputation for not giving as much focus to people involved in the game industry as they should, (for example, talking to garden-variety celebrities on the red carpet instead of game developers) so I’m very glad they have Zac as the host this year! 🙂

    It’s great news for Zach… I’m sure he will do a great job.

    Now, all we need to do is find a way to slip Joshua Gomez, Felicia Day, Yvonne Strzechowski — yes, I prefer her heritage spelling — and Adam Baldwin into the fun. Maybe play some segments of a game to reveal winners in categories?

    Maybe even music by Jeffster?
