I was just doing some last minute holiday shopping on Amazon and noticed that Chuck season 5 is already available to pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray, complete with temporary cover art! No release date is listed, but this is months ahead of the usual pre-order availability (season 4 went up in March 2011; season 3 in April 2010), so perhaps we’ll be able to complete our collections soon?
P.S. Individual episodes are still unavailable for download. Boo.
Wow, if that was the package art (minus the low quality aspect of that specific thumbnail), I’d be all for it. It would be nice to get one big group shot of the cast for the final season art, but I guess that’s unlikely!
Mel, do you know if WB will be releasing Chuck: The Complete Series, similar to how they did for Smallville?
I haven’t heard anything specific about a complete series set, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did something like that.
Can’t even get the entire season pass on iTunes.
Maybe WB’s model is that they don’t make Season 5 episodes available at all other than through the DVD/Blu Ray to force fans to buy them? If so, so much for the “this one’s for the fans” schtick.
