SPOILERS: More Series Finale Teases (That Should Make You Happy)

Looks like we’re in for a happy ending after all. Now where have I heard that before? 😉 From today’s Ask Ausiello:

Question: There will be a huge hole in my life after Chuck ends on January 27. Any last bit of final season spoilers out there? —Chuck
Ausiello: Zachary Levi breaks down the two-hour swan song thusly: “The first hour is super-intense drama and action and some tears are shed. And the second half also has some drama, but there’s a lot of comedy, too.”

  1. This quells my worries some! My thinking.. Chuck vs Sarah/first half will have our memory loss (if it is indeed there) mini-arc of sorts.. where the source of tears will be from.. possibly, along with the super-intense drama, and action.. and then the second half will hopefully be the resolution of said memory loss, which will bring us some drama as well, along with comedy again as it wraps up.

At least that’s what I hope!

  2. I have never been so enthralled with a t.v. show like I have been with Chuck. The writing has been superb. I watched it religiously every Monday and then Friday night. I hate that the show is going away. But maybe we’ll see it come big screen, another day.

  3. I agree, a Movie next would be GREAT> I am hoping the finale allows for that possibility.

  4. I just hope they all come out of it alive CHUCK is the Greatest Show ever to come on to TV im going to miss it so much at lest i will have the DVDs to watch . It would be great if we had a couple of Movies made of CHUCK.

Thanks Mel for the Post and all that u do.

  5. GUYS maybe just maybe if everyone started watching chuck on tv and making chuck more public we could win another seson it isent possible!!! We CAN do this just like ALL of chucks fanpages and tell your friends about it and be there infront of the tv friday night and maybe we can save mine and your favorite show. Please…

    • Bia it’s too late for that, the show is done. Nbc and his douchy boss pretty much said so, so no matter how many sandwiches or letters wesent their way, Chuck is finished, si let’s enjoye this lasts rides and know that we watched a great show and it won’t be forgotten.

  6. I don’t want to put my yummy peanut butter cups away just yet, but maybe I can start cutting down on them!

So Mel, do you still think your plans will pan out the way you said?

  7. I don’t even need it on the big screen-A made for tv movie would make me just as happy. Chuck vs. the Christmas Delivery perhaps.

  8. January 27th can’t get here soon enough.

  9. I think everyone needs to take a good deep breath and relax. TPTB know what they are doing, and even in Season 3 gave us 2 good finales. The road may still be a bit rocky, but do we really want to watch 3 hours of our heros sitting at home??
Because what most of us are worried about is whether or not the characters in this truely unique show will end up safe, sound and happy. Step back from this current discussion and remember that TPTB are fully aware of what the fans have done for CHUCK, and I expect that we will get an ending that, while not perhaps exactly what we have anticipated, will be a fitting end (and by the sounds of it tribute) to the best show I have watched in decades.

  10. Not for nothing…I am a huge Chuck fan…but there is alot of talk about wanting a movie…think that possibility disappeared a long time ago when the ratings cratered.

  11. So weird that it’s almost over, like many have said before. So bittersweet considering the “what if Chuck had been on another network” scenario. I can’t help but think if Chuck had been on USA or SyFy, it would have faired better. I just started watching Season 1, probably for the first time since I bought the DVDs when they came out. I hope we see some Bryce.

  12. I just hope that the show ends with a laugh and not dreading the death of a well loved character (season 3). I’m very sad that Chuck is ending, the first time I watched it I was flipping throught the channels and happened accross the middle of the episode chuck vs. the nacho sampler, after just seeing half the episode I was hooked and bought the first 2 seasons to catch up, and since then have all the seasons. I don’t know what NBC was thinking cancelling this show after 5 seasons. Most of the people that watch the show don’t show up in NBC’s “numbers” because of location and whatever, I live in Canada and heavn’t missed and episode and I don’t count, same with the other people accross the world. 🙁 I’m going to miss chuck.

  13. I love this show a lot and I think there will ever be on like it again on tv

  14. :,,,,,(

You will be missed, Chuck. You will be missed..

  15. I’m glad that final episode(s) won’t be all drama. I’ve been missing out on a lot of the humor that first made me interested in Chuck. Super glad to hear it’ll be a balanced formula.

  16. Ahhhh, the long wait for the end and the feeling when it’s over in an instant.
The ending of the Chuck and Sarah relationship doesn’t worry me so much as how they emphasised that the connections between fulcrum, the ring, shaw etc are all part of a super-mega plot thingy. Having the main motivation of the opposition being to get the intersect just seems like a step away from actually explaining all this.

All I know is in the end I will cry, heck, I nearly teared up at the last bit with Sarah and the flash cards. T^T
