Tonight on Chuck: “Chuck vs. the Bullet Train”

“Guns and bullets” are what we’ve been told to expect from tonight’s episode of Chuck. The series comes to a roaring finish next Friday with back-to-back episodes, which makes tonight our penultimate night together, Chucksters.

A MISSION ABOARD A JAPANESE BULLET TRAIN SPIRALS OUT OF CONTROL, PUTTING THOSE CLOSEST TO CARMICHAEL INDUSTRIES IN DANGER – ANGUS MACFADYEN GUEST STARS — When a mission in Japan becomes a hostage situation, Sarah and Chuck must face the merciless Nicholas Quinn aboard a speeding Japanese bullet train. Meanwhile, the mission leaves Casey with an impossible decision.

Sarah is now the Intersect, Chuck has been kidnapped by Quinn, and Casey is between a rock and a hard place. Also, Ben Browder guest stars. “Chuck vs. the Bullet Train” airs tonight at 8/7c.

  1. I am unbelievably sad to see this series go.

Really, I can’t wait to see what happens in tonight’s episode. The last few minutes of last week’s was some of Baldwin’s best acting I’ve seen since Firefly. Hopefully more of that comes out tonight.

  2. I have a feeling that this episode will end with our favorite characters in an unhappy state.

  3. After seeing the preveiw above with Morgan Alex Ellie and Awsome I feel better about Sara recovering from the intersect because Ellie is on the job she is so smart. Does anyone get the feeling Beckman will offer Ellie a job of heading up the Intersect Team cause Ellie is the only one who really knows how the intersect works. Remember in Chuck VS Fear of Death those idiots trying to get Chuck to flash didn’t know anything

  4. We need some drama and tension or the show would be boring. TPTB know this and they know how to play an audience (and work us into a frenzy). That said, I don’t think we need to worry about a really sad end to the show. I expect that the saddest thing will be just that–the show is ending. 🙁

  5. the impossible decision is to either save chuck or sarah

  6. Only 7 days and 3 episodes left, it just hit me, im starting to get really sad……….

  7. Hi All

I think Chuck will tell Casey to get Sarah to safety. Casey will see Chuck in trouble but makes the difficult decision to get Sarah to safety because that is what Chuck would want. Casey will get Sarah to Ellie as fast as he can so she can begin to de -intersect Sarah.

Regards the Chuck vs Sarah I still think she will discover she is pregnet and decides not to tell him so Chuck can take Quinn down

I’m starting to feel sad 3 episodes left!!

    🙁

    • Sean- I think you are on the right track. It seems to me those are the things that have to happen for a full circle. But, curveballs are a mainstay of “Chuck”.

  8. oh my god this was so freaking tense. he made her loosing her memories and now its up to chuck. I cant believe what happened. its seems like she forgot everything. im just so curious how this will play out at the end of the finale, they wont have the same relationship again with all the emotional memories that are gone.. this is nuts , I CANT WAIT A WEEK SRSLY 🙁

    • one addition : we saw the wienerlicious will appear on the finale. I think Chuck has to show sarah all the different places from her past / where they went together to restore her memory is some way. What do u people think about that?

      honestly im freaking out xD

  9. Hi All,

If thats the case – WE HAVE WASTED THE LAST 5 YEARS! Why would the writers litteraly rip out the Foundations of Chuck & Sarah’s relationship & destroy all the growth Sarah’s Character has made over the last 5 years?

I’M QUITE ANGRY RIGHT NOW! I want to linch the writers! >:-(

    • Sean, the answer is in your question: “Why would the writers litteraly rip out the Foundations of Chuck & Sarah’s relationship & destroy all the growth Sarah’s Character has made over the last 5 years?”

      They wouldn’t.

      • but u have to admit that the promo for the finale looks kinda like its heading in that direction, when sarah asked do u really love me? i mean she wouldnt ask if theres some trouble about her memories.
as we saw in the episode from tonight, with every single flash she is forgettin something.. and at the end where quinn showed her these cards which made her flash.. u saw the different memories pop up..

but youre right.. they wont destroy sarahs growth she has made but in some way i think they need to be restored first

  10. Hi Mel,

Your probably right. I think its the speed @ which the writers did it! Its like being “socked in the guts” (vs 1st Class) & we all have an idea how one reacts to getting “socked” – not well! I realise the tight time frame the everyone envolved with ‘Chuck’ were under. This arc is why I think NBC should have given Chuck the back 6. It would have given us more time to get used to the idea & the arc could been explored more effectively.

Thank you for everything you have done for us chucksters. Hope chucktv.net continues!!

  11. I can’t believe that there are only 2 episodes left, how time flies, the only question I have is the synopsis for Chuck vs Sarah, it says that Sarah must keep a secret from Chuck to complete a mission, why would she have a secret if she doesn’t even have any memory of Chuck?

  12. Just a so-si episode-how many times can you win and lose to same guy without killing him. Got a little boring. Hopefully the final episodes will be good.

  13. mel i agree my theory is that they have elli restore her memories shes getting close to understanding exactly how the memories are removed and were they are in the brain

  14. After reading so many theories to next week I do see some great trains of thought but 1 stuck out in a pattern NBC has been beating down over the past few eps Arvind may be on to something with Elli finally cracking the intersect and how it works, the succeeding where Papa B couldn’t approach, which if that’s the case would make the Elli Awesome opportunity plot quite interesting. I wonder if they are wrapping the series in a door’s still open for another network to pick up chuck kind of way?? Like how ABC picked up scrubs from NBC years ago

  15. Just wondering if anyone knew what the beginning was a nod to, I was thinking the short lived series supertrain, but I’m not sure.

  16. Hi Hanna,

I thought it was a nod to the original Chris Reeve “Superman” movies. Could be wrong.

  17. The intro reminded me most of this early 60’s pop program:-

Anyone admitting to be 50…ish or over might remember this on the BBC!

American [and British!] viewers of about the same vintage might also remember this:-

[I wonder if that’s where TPTB got Casey’s name?]
