The CW Orders Monster Pilot from Josh Schwartz

I wonder what would happen to the CW if Josh Schwartz were to retire… The Hollywood Reporter announced today that they’ve put in a script order for a new series developed by Schwartz and producing partner Stephanie Savage called Copeland High. The show would be set in an elite high school where the competition is so fierce, it literally turns students into monsters. Bret Easton Ellis and Catherine Hardwicke are also involved as writer/producer and consultant, respectively.

The CW will have four Schwartz series on the air this year: the final season of Gossip Girl; season 2 of Hart of Dixie; and freshmen shows The Carrie Diaries and Cult. His proposed remake of the hit UK series Misfits also appears to still be in development.

  3. I don’t care about his other shows. If he does a Chuck mini series or movie, I’ll be his fan again. Other than that, means nothing to me.
