Brandon Routh’s New Series Launches on Chuck’s Anniversary

On this day in 2007, Chuck premiered on NBC. On this day in 2012, Shaw returns.

OK, not Shaw, but Brandon Routh is co-starring in a new series premiering tonight. Partners debuts on CBS at 8:30/7:30 as one half of a gay couple. Michael Urie plays his partner, David Krumholtz plays Urie’s straight best friend, and Sophia Bush plays Krumholtz’s fiancee. Clear as mud? In essence, this is a sitcom about a pair of best friends – one gay, one straight – and how they handle each other being in significant relationships.

  2. Fortunately, the show sounds so bad that I don’t have to miss it just because BR is on it.

  3. I am sorry but picturing Shaw in this role ruins all my badass memories of him which he displayed so well on “Chuck”.

  4. Sorry “Partners”, but Brandon will always be our beloved villain-SHAW.

  5. Sounds like a great role for Brandon Routh. Good luck to him.
