Which Chucksters Are Returning to TV? (2013 Pilot Pickups) {UPDATED}

It’s been a couple of years since Chuck fans followed news about pilots and upfronts with bated breath, waiting to see if our show would get another season. More than a year after Chuck‘s final episode, several former Chuck cast and creative team members have pilots in contention at various networks. With the annual upfronts beginning in a few days, we’ll be collecting information about the projects given the greenlight right here.

Project: The Last Ship
Network: TNT
Synopsis: The story opens with a global catastrophe that nearly decimates the world’s population. Because of its positioning, the Navy destroyer U.S.S. Nathan James avoids falling victim to the devastating tragedy. But now the crew and its captain must confront the reality of their new existence in a world where they may be among the few remaining survivors.

Project: Gang Related
Network: FOX
Synopsis: Follows a gang member sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department and rise through its ranks — ultimately landing on the Gang Task Force. There, he must balance his obligations to his crime family with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new “family” on the SFPD.

Project: Sean Saves the World
Network: NBC
Synopsis: A multi-camera sitcom about a man attempting to both parent the teenage daughter who just moved in and appease a temperamental new boss.

Project: Tomorrow People
Network: the CW
Synopsis: Adapted from the 1970s UK series, it follows several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, all possessing special powers including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil.

Project: The 100
Network: the CW
Synopsis: Based on upcoming Alloy books written by Kass Morgan, the project is set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization. A spaceship housing the lone human survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to investigate the possibility of re-colonizing the planet.
