Zac Streams Live from the Set with Big, Hairy Co-Star (SPOILERS)

Zachary Levi just streamed some video live from the set of Chuck featuring a big, hairy co-star: Shika the tiger! They’re filming episode 3.15 right now, “Chuck vs. the Role Models”, which is partially set in the Congo. The question is, whose side is Shika on? Is she Team Bartowski or The Ring?

Co-Creator Chris Fedak takes us behind the scenes of Chuck episode 3.02 for a look at Chuck’s apartment where Morgan, Lester and Jeff are throwing a party. Bonus appearances by Vik Sahay (“No it’s not. He’s a liar.”) and Scott Krinsky.

On The Set Photos From 3.12: Chuck Vs The American Hero

Pacific Coast News Online has posted 11 behind the scenes photos from the last Chuck episode being filmed before the Christmas break; 3.12.

There are shots of Zach Levi and Brandon Routh together as well as Zach and his stunt double, and Vik Sahay.

In several of the Zach and Brandon photos you can see Zach hoisting Brandon over his shoulder. Zach can also be seen wearing a wicked looking vest with several knives on it.

I do not know about you but every new picture I see continues to increase my excitement level for Season 3. Something I did not think possible.

Diedrich Bader To Guest, and Other News From the Set (SPOILERS!)

Warning: spoilers from the set of Chuck below. Don’t read on if you’re trying to stay spoiler-free.

It looks like we aren’t the only ones excited about Zachary Levi directing his first episode of Chuck; photos from the set of episode 3.09, “Chuck vs. the Beard”, have been coming thick and fast. Most aren’t all that spoilery, but check out this photo of Mark Christopher Lawrence, Zachary Levi and…Diedrich Bader?

Looks like the former Jethro will be guest starring in this episode, possibly as someone from Buy More management. I guess that makes sense. If you’ve watched The Beverly Hillbillies movie 18 times like some people (*ahem*), you’ll remember the scene where Jethro has a 6-foot sub sandwich delivered. He and Big Mike would have a lot in common.

What else can we determine from these photos? There’s a shot of Sarah and Shaw (Yvonne Strahovski and Brandon Routh) in what appears to be a serious conversation on a screen that Director Zac is watching; Zac is one dedicated guy as blocks a scene as the director and learns his lines as an actor at the Buy More; Morgan is now Assistant Manager to Big Mike at the Buy More; and there were some fake (?) beauty pageant contestants on set. IGN Visits the Set of ‘Chuck’

The guys at IGN got to take a trip behind the scenes of Chuck while they filmed part of this week’s episode. Check it out:

Standing in the courtyard of Chuck’s apartment building, it was impressive how realistic it felt (as long as you didn’t glance up and check out the soundstage ceiling of course). It’s hard to miss the big fountain in the center of the courtyard on the show, but there was also an incredibly impressive outdoor fireplace to the side of the courtyard. Also very impressive was the detail inside the apartment belonging to NSA agent Casey (Adam Baldwin), which is filled with flak jackets, helmets, knives and ammunition befitting his character’s sensibility. A visit to the adjacent soundstage included a tour of the Weinerlicious, where Sarah spends her days at a cover job. Also on that stage was Sarah’s hotel room, and rooms created for the hotel in “Chuck Versus the Tango.” Bullet holes could be seen across the walls from the heavy gunfire involved in that episode.

PHOTOS: Rachel Bilson Arrives on Set

Summer’s here! OK, not really. But Rachel Bilson is! She arrived on the set of Chuck yesterday to get started filming her multi-episode arc, and we have pictures! She doesn’t look pleased to see the cameras -  and we don’t blame her, really – but we’re sure excited to see her on the set! Check out the preview below and the whole set in the Gallery.
