I haven't made it through a day this week without re-watching the Honeymooners episode at least once. I just love good story telling and Chuck has developed all its characters thoroughly and the writing is rich with humor and running gags and references to previous episodes...it keeps the viewer engaged. The journey through the Shaw affair was well done. I suffered. I writhed at times. Brandon Routh did a great job. I love the way he delivered the line, "Sarah, you killed my wife. Did you really think I'd be okay with that?" It was uber creepy. One episode I've only watched twice - Chuck vs. the Fake Name. Chuck as a hardened liar and the romance with Hannah and his abuse of her are just too painful to view often. I know folks have bitterly ranted toward the writers for those story lines...but I appreciate this marvelous show and I accept the journey these fine writers have created. It is by far the best show I've ever seen in my lengthy TV viewing experience. (I'm telling you guys I'm old.)
