In 'Chuck Vs. The Marlin' during Casey's questioning Morgan regarding the whereabouts of the fish (actually Marlin) and after Sarah is locked inside the freezer.

Edit: Also would this thread be better served in "General Discussion"? There is an "Inside Jokes" thread there that is very similar to this thread.

That could also be a nod to Chuck vs. the Tango when Casey threw one of La Ciudad's men into a freezer.
"Also, I can kill you with my brain." ~ River Tam (Firefly)

"What's he gonna do? Hurt me with his brain?" ~ John Casey (Chuck)

That part of the episiode was great! Beat down by home appliances!
Season 2 Episode 16, Chuck vs The Lethal Weapon
Agent Cole Barker: (referring to Chuck) He was also injured in the line of duty.
Casey: He got clipped by a window cill. It's as pathetic as it sounds.

In 'Broken Heart' the "Customer Service" being visible in the background during the bachelor party can be another hidden message albeit one of the weaker ones.

As an aside, I've noticed that they have been reusing the same GUI overlay from 'Seduction' when conferencing with Beckman. Not every time but very often. This is from 'Broken Heart' but I've also spotted it in 'Cougars':

"S. Banachek"

In 'First Date' it said "cipher" or something to that effect.

Looks like this may be foreshadowing something big. Road Trip and Quality Time is exactly what Chuck and Sarah need.

In the pilot on the club scene we see a poster that says "(something) Crisis". And yes after that it's been one hell of crisis after another LOL.

It looks like it says "ADOLESCENCE CRISIS"

Kudos to dzeims for starting this thread.

I'm new here so maybe this has already been discussed.  I've watched and rewatched alot of the episodes and started seeing a few things.

- Scott Bakula (SB) has the same initials as Steve Bartowski (SB) and Sam Beckett (SB)    --> were the writers fans of Quantum Leap?

- possible mistake in episode 2.16 where Chuck updates his ORION diagram.  Sarah Walker and Graham Langston have the same ID Tag number   --> is there a screenshot of the whole chart anywhere?

Oh, I think it's safe to say they were fans of Quantum Leap. ;)  NBC has a searchable screenshot of http://www.nbc.com/Chuck/exclusives/chucks-chart/ on its website.  I think the same number is simply a coincidence - all the CIA agents ID tags have the same number.  Probably, whoever was doing the Photoshopping got sloppy.

There were quite a few Quantum Leap references, like Steven's "Oh Boy".  That's what's so great about the show with so many references to sci-fi and comedy classics.

That NBC link was great too !!

Sorry for the bump, but I was rewatching Vs. The Nacho Sampler this weekend and noticed that you can actually read Chuck's file for the brief second its on screen.

I've uploaded full size screencaps of the file here: http://bit.ly/9CjvnW. It's just a prop, but I found it interesting  :).

I guess I shouldn't say how many of those comics I read?

I got a little peeved when I saw he'd pasted Orion's diagrams in an "Ex Machina" comic.  :o
