None of these episodes - especially 3.14 - would have been possible without the character growth of the first 13.

The problem I have is not the character growth - which was needed - but the methods which TPTB  used to achieve it.

Getting back on topic, I thought 3.18 and 3.19 were the strongest of the back six, and hopefully a view into where they're going with the characters in season 4.  I agree with StrangeWorld that they could have set up the Intersect problems a little earlier.  That the Intersect was - or could - cause brain damage was something that was speculated on  here well before that, so it wasn't unexpected.  From a viewers standpoint, it came across as something that TPTB sprang on the audience.  Outside of that aspect, I thought it did a good job in further developing Sarah's and Morgan's growth, as well as showing the strength of Chuck and Sarah's relationship.

I agree. The Finale were the strongest episodes. Excellent balance of all the parts that make the show so good.

I loved 3.14, finally seeing Sarah and Chuck expressing their love freely, and how good a team they are.

3.15 had a few nice moments, like The Intro, Morgan and Sarah at the fridge, Chuck and Sarah arguing about the guns, Sarah willing to move in and grow old with Chuck, but the Turners were not good (maybe that's what TPTB intended to show; that where the Turners failed, Chuck and Sarah would succeed).

3.16 was good at the time, but now that the season is over, it's IMO one of the weakest, though it was awesome and moving to see Sarah growing emotionally, especially when she realize that Chuck is in really bad shape; where in the past she would've fled, now, she's willing to fight to help her Chuck, and she also realized she could lose him, so she finally tell him how she feels about him (I liked Doc's subtle nudges with his questions to Sarah).

3.17 was good, with Papa B's return, and Chuck/Sarah's teamwork, but it was an obvious setup for the Finale.

I love that they showed that Team B. are not alone, there is an extended one as well! And I loved to see that Sarah and Chuck are really committed to their relationship. They support each other, they are there for the other, and they are doing their best (through trial and error) to make it work! That they love each other is not in question anymore.

If it's truly the template for Season 4 (as TPTB said), I will love next season!

Of course it was worth it. The single proven most important thing of the show is finally back after being absent for 12 episodes. The heart of the show is why most people became hooked in the first place so it’s not so much of a surprise that so many likes the back six.

Agreed.  The concept was great.  The execution was not great but it was not terrible either.

Well worth it, but I have so say I found the trouble with the Intersect way too rushed. After having the intersect in one version or another for over 2 seasons ( alright nearly forever), he went from a few dreams to near collapse in a couple of weeks. Dramatically I suppose they needed to do that, but I found it to be rather unbelievable in its execution (not that the whole premise is believable, but that's  Chuck).

See it as a ketchup bottle. You shake it, shake it, shake it and there it goes all at ones. ;D
