Season 5 Episodes 12 & 13: Chuck Vs Sarah and Chuck Vs The Goodbye

Who was the talent agent who came into the Buy More for Jeffster?  Was he anybody for real?

Can't believe out of the five potential finals they had every one was done well except for the real one.

Sarah did say that she loves him, right (or maybe I'm imagining things?)? And she did tell Chuck to kiss her after he told her their story? She loves him, she wants to be with him, and Chuck obviously loves her and wants to be with her; so that means they are together again, right?  As for her memories, I said kind of, so there.
 

Mel, I'd like to hear what you have to say about that; why it is obvious they are together and would remain so.

For the reasons you stated above, plus the fact that they're soulmates, as we've known for the last 5 years. The final shot of them making out on the beach that held such significance was a pretty good clue, too. Sarah seemed more like her real self, her seasons 4 and 5 self, by that point, too. She'd already started regaining her memories and who knows? Maybe that kiss was all it took. Chuck is a pretty good kisser.

It was obvious to me that Chuck and Sarah were together and would remain together. Maybe it's not obvious to everyone. I've known since I watched the episode on Wednesday night that this would be debated endlessly. Glad I had time to brace myself for the hatred.

This ending reminds me of how I felt at the end of season 2; wanting more and imagining how the story continues.

Yes, but I'm drawing a total blank on who it is. I think he was/is a casting agent for the show.

I'm sorry, she never said she loved him. I wish you were right. Never said she wants to be with him, didn't happen. Being told what happened to you is a far cry from actually experiencing it firsthand. The feeling could not possibly be the same, and she remembered no one, just some minor details, that only the most optimistic people could hope to form a happy conclusion.

I won't say too much tonight, because I'm hoping I will feel differently after sleeping on it.

I will say the acting was incredible. Such an incredible cast, and Zac and Yvonne were especially on their game. Inspired performances.

That ending though, left me pretty disappointed. I wish I had found something hopeful in it, I just wasn't feeling it. Two hours of downer with a less than satisfying ending.  Please let me feel better about it when I wake up tomorrow. .

I not sure either. reading Alan and Mo and other enjoyed it. and it helping me understand some more Sarah did ask Chuck to kiss her and she was laughing as he told her their story. I think she was starting to feel or believe she was capable of those feelings she said earlier she doesn't remember and she was starting to fall in love I just right now feel it needed to be more obvious. I'll do a re-watch again and Need Mel insight more.

The finale to me really felt like Quinn won in a way. He took a pair of happy newleyweds and completely destroyed their world. That scene where Ellie turned to Devon and said never leave me broke my heart. Felt like all the character relationships for Sarah were lost. And the scene in vs Sarah where Sarah said you really loved me, that may have been one of the hardest scenes to watch ever

I agree with what you said, Mel. She initiated the kiss, and kissed him back. She clearly loves him.

I'm sorry you feel that way, it's your opinion, and I respect that. But she did say that she loves Chuck. Where I agree with you is that it would've been better if it has been less ambiguous.

The hardest scene for me was in Castle when she told Chuck that she just didn't "feel" it anymore.  And honestly I don't believe we saw or heard her say in the end that she did get those feelings back. I guess you just have to believe she did.  But that is not good storytelling.

Yeah so many scenes that were hard to watch. And what the heck is with Casey locking Chuck and Sarah up and then Sarah leaving without Chuck. Seems like the ending of 5.06 was just a waste. They built up this big potential for a happy ending where Chuck and Sarah are acting like the happy couple they have been all season and just bypassed it I guess. Was just two of many moments where it seemed like the character growth we have witnessed was ignored. Wasn't this the same Casey who murdered 5 or 6 enemy operatives to protect his family and friends and now it takes Morgan to talk him out of arresting them

Just felt off, I was expecting Sarah to really fall for Chuck during the ep and not in the last two minutes. Just a couple minutes before the beach scene she walks out of castle basically saying sorry gotta go, good luck in the future Chuck
