Chuck vs the Movie Campaign

I don't know how much interest there is in trying to work toward a movie or high quality webisode(s), but I am putting some ideas out there that I am considering or already trying. I posted in another thread that I had some thoughts and I was going to wait until after the Podcast, but I wanted to do it before everyone goes their own way. If Chris Fedak pours cold water on the idea, it can be shelved for now.  ;)

1. Buy the DVD's:  I have copies that I give to people either as a loan or a gift.  I usually try to get them hooked on season 1+2 and then let them fend for themselves. Worldwide sales should count so Chuck fans outside the US can finally have an impact!

2. As a followup to 1. I am donating DVD's of the first 4 seasons to our local library

3. Work the Media: I have no special contacts, and others may be able to do more, but I am giving a set of season 1-3 DVD's to a local radio host (potential audience 1M) who does reviews, and has made positive comments about previous seasons. I have written a letter regarding Chuck and hope that he will feature the review more prominently than he otherwise would have, pass it on to another host in a different market, or do a prize giveaway which would have a similar effect.

4. Let WB know we are still interested. Key dates are day 49, 56, and 564! Be sure to mention why you are writing on these dates. They are, of course, the dates from the videolog Sarah watches in vs. Sarah. I have been told HANDWRITTEN is by far the most highly regarded. Tweets and emails are likely not worth the time it takes to write them.

5. Keep writing about the possible Tim Jones CD.

6. This is tricky as I am not sure I am up to the project, but I would like to commission a Chuck banner add to direct people to the WB and or Amazon website that would run for a week or two before the Season 5 release date. I would be willing to personally fund this, to a point anyway. If anyone has information on how this can be done or can help, please contact me by PM.

7. Contact Subway. They were a big part of Chuck, and they will likely be a factor in any further adventures.They need to know that there are still fans out there who are willing to eat Footlongs  :)

8. Tweet Zach if your are on twitter and let him know we are with him in this. We may need a Hashtag to go with this. Any ideas for a Hashtag please post below. Also, please be respectful and don't spam him.

9. Direct your Chuck friends to this site. Encourage them to get involved.

10. Post your other ideas below. Off the wall suggestions are encouraged. :)
