Chuck Movie Pledge Drive

There is finally a fan supported pledge drive to get a movie for Chuck. The idea is that you pledge what you can and spread the word. This is similar to the Kickstart idea that was used for "Jeasus Don't Let Me Die.." It isn't an official Kickstart because the fans don't own the rights. As I understand it, you do not pay anything upfront, and will only be asked for money if there is enough money/interest that WB decides to move ahead. As I understand it, this is basically what Zach was pitching.

So get out there, pledge, and spread the Word

I support your enthusiasm, but unless you get several *million* pledged, I doubt TPTB will give it the time of day.

At this point they are asking for pledges. What does it hurt to pledge what you feel you can/want and see how the number grows. They will see larger numbers if people wnat and support the idea.
For a Kickstart campaign this is already pretty good. $26,000 may not seem like much, but it just keeps growing. As for how much TPTB will want to see, I have no idea, but I suspect that it won't be several million.
