MORGAN FACES THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS TIME AS THE INTERSECT WHEN HE MUST PIECE TOGETHER A LOST WEEKEND IN VAIL — BO DEREK (“10″) AND ANGUS MACFADYEN (“BRAVEHEART”) GUEST STAR — As Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) try to realize a new, safer future, Morgan’s (Joshua Gomez) past as the Intersect sends them to Vail on one last mission, where they enlist the help of an unlikely source — the legendary Bo Derek (as herself). Elsewhere, Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester (Vik Sahay) continue their own spy mission. Adam Baldwin, Sarah Lancaster and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

I really hope the writers link the Quinn character’s story arc to Bryce, Papa B, Hartley Winterbottom & the development of the original Intersect in the 1980’s. It would bring the story full circle so to speak. Maybe Quinn was the reason Bryce sent Chuck the Intersect in the pilot. Maybe Quinn caused the malfuntion of Hartley’s Intersect & he blamed Papa B? What do people think?
Linking it all up would make ALOT of sense. Heres hoping!
That;’s a really interesting idea. If not, I’m sure whatever they do with this character will have us on the edges of our seats.
Although after Santa Suit and Baby its going to be hard to come up with another episode that measures up to those 2 this season.
Any bets on whether or not we here Bolero playing in the background as Morgan is making out with Bo?

The Quinn arc was the reason I have always thought we needed a back 6 or 9! I’m fearful that the 4 remaining episodes woun’t give us enough time to get where the character is coming from in relation to the Bartowski Clan (Casey, Alex & Morgan included).
On a side issue Googletalks is meeting Chris Fedak & Josh Schartz next week to talk about the end of Chuck – Googletalks are looking for questions. Last time I checked there were 138 questions for the boys! Among them the potental of a movie.

Alert for all for all who want to watch Chuck tonight, but live in Western Wisconsin. The local TV network is airing something that will push Chuck back to 1:05 am tonight. That and the fact that there is no way to watch new episodes online or on demand means that will be my only chance to watch it ever, until the DVD comes out.

what do u expect for 5.12 especially because it seems like the intersect is getting worse by every single flash and when sarah falls to the ground.. oh man that was a huge schocker
in relation to the episodes title?
maybe a real fight ? even if its to protect sarah?

My one word review.. “Wow” pretty much sums it up. They try and distract you with Bo Derek, and then BAM. Just..wow.

So the whole synop for 5.12 makes me go ‘Hm..”
The synopsis for 5.12 is the one that says she has a huge secret; we saw in the preview for 5.11 that she tells Chuck she has the Intersect. Nope, still pretty confident that her secret is pregnancy.
really? do u think she hided it from chuck on purpose and didnt tell the truth when she made the test back in the bathroom?
or probably a new one we dont know about yet?
Or the test we saw last week was a false negative (e.g. too early to tell).
Maybe something with the intersect put her more in tune with her body and.. yeah, I dunno about that. We didn’t really see any signs of her character being sick or anything with this episode, though that could obviously be hidden pretty easily by the writing.
But yeah, 5.12’s secret isn’t intersect related unless they try to get it out of her at the end of 5.11 and she fakes like it’s gone when it’s actually not, and that’s the secret.. I don’t know though. We’ll see I suppose next week!
Well, when they wrote that “secret” synopsis for the next episode, I don’t think they yet knew that we would see her reveal it to Chuck in the promo.
So I think that is the *secret*, not a pregnancy.
Next week is episode 5.11. The “secret” synopsis is for 5.12.
Ah my bad.
Still, if we’re going with a memory loss for Sarah due to the intersect storyline I don’t see how they could fit in a pregnancy too.
What an amazing episode tonight. I thought it was right up there with Santa Suit and Baby.
From the promo for next week, it looks like the Intersect is going to have the same or similar effect on Sarah as it had on Chuck in tooth/subway/ring 2. Maybe Chuck saves her by tweaking one of his governor watches for her.
Also, wondering if instead of normal life ending we get the Intersected couple. Can you imagine Chuck and Sarah both having the Intersect. They would be unstoppable.
I seriously thought someone was going to die in that last scene, I was like OH HELL NO!. It was kinda badass after she uploaded, but I hope they don’t screw it up.

Great episode! Just caught it on DVR after work scrape jaw off of floor after last few minutes!! Loved the Jacklyn Smith reference – hilarious! Jeffster hijinks also were also great. Loved the Vail anti-Buy More.
I am really hoping for more payoff from Decker’s episode at the end of last season. He seemed to allude to a MUCH bigger back story than what we have seen so far, linking a whole bunch of early episodes in a new way.
When I listened to the promos where Casey was yelling “no Walker” so adamently it kept me guessing as to what was going on. Never guessed it. So cool. I felt like I was “flashing” myself as I jumped out of my chair. Way to go Sarah.
Now that I’ve just seen this episode, it becomes clearer what Yvonne was talking about when she said “he takes something away from Sarah and Chuck”, that would be the intersect she downloaded!
Lol now that Sarah has the intersect, the only person on the team who’s never had the intersect before is Casey… I wonder if he’ll get the intersect too. Just a thought, he probably won’t get it though.
Casey is pretty much unstoppable without it anyways emaginw what hed be like with it
If you go to the NBC’s “Chuck” website their promo for next weeks (5.11) episode sheds some light. It says: “Chuck is held hostage on a Japanese bullet train as Casey and Sarah must go to unprecedented lengths to save him.”

Why did NBC ever cancel this show – whats wrong with them? They remind me of pre fixed Jeff!!
Starting to really think (after a night of sleep and thought over it) that we may see a memory issue with Sarah like we had with Morgan.. her memories being eaten away by the intersect. May just be because of the type of intersect they have.. or the way their minds work differently than Chuck (and Shaw I suppose).. just urgh if it goes that way. I mean.. if it does and we still have the same sort of ending (Chuck and Sarah together, married, mostly happy) then I’m fine, but if there’s trouble there due to this last arc? I admit it’ll sour my experience with Chuck.
Normally I’m not the negative nancy either. I blame blogs and twitter! Just the 5.12 “secret’ makes me really think it’s not baby related, and is more so Sarah maybe forgetting things and she doesn’t want to tell Chuck lest she worry him. I hope hope hope I’m wrong, though. It’d certainly fit the ‘slightly, slightly tragic’ bit that Yvonne referred to, though.
overall chuck was better than most of the rest of season but there some problems with sarah getting the intersect .plotholes with the intersect ,1 is it after chuck alterered it when shaw used it ,2 general beckman said there was only one use in the glasses when chuck asked her ,3 if they are from before they were alterered how did chuck give them to shaw when he changed them .or are the scriptwriters just playing fast and loose with the timeline and story
The Intersect Sarah uploaded was not the one that Morgan uploaded. Different glasses, most likely different Intersect (why would Quinn infect his own version with a virus?). We don’t know exactly where Quinn got his version, but I doubt it’s the same one Shaw uploaded, either, since that happened 2 years ago and Quinn will have wanted the latest version.
This really resemblance the ending of season 2 when Chuck was intersect free and ready to go back regular life and then decided download 2.0. I don´t know for sure what the secret would be but I really hope pregnancy at the end of the series, because then it would be whole circle for their relationship. Maybe in Chuck vs Sarah also Chuck got intersect back and that´s why the episode name 🙂

I think vs The Bulliet Train will be Phase Three on Steriods lol! Maybe Ellie will be able to access the program on the latest pair of Intersect shades & discovers its Papa B’s unmodified program! Sarah tells Chuck that she downloaded it to save him, which causes him to worry that she’ll go the way of Morgan which is justified because unlike Chuck Sarah simply can’t handle it! Ellie manages to deintersect Sarah by the end of Bulliet Train. Chuck reintersects himself for the final two episodes to take down Quinn! Sarah discovers that she is with child but decides not to tell Chuck until they have taken Quinn down. In Goodbye, Chuck says goodbye to the intersect & the dangerous side of the spy life – until General Beckman contacts Carmicheal Industries to discuss a Job – The Development of The Intersect 3.0 for the CIA/NSA…………..

Anyone remember when only a select few were suitable to handle the knowledge of the intersect without having their brains fried there and then??
Now it seems anyones suitable to upload it with only a few long term side effects.
Hope they quickly backtrack on this storyline.. terrible decision having Sarah as the intersect.
I know, right? Just a “few long term side effects” like loss of memory, split personality, brain overheating, flashes destroying neurons, death. Who wouldn’t want the Intersect uploaded into their brain?
