I am just glad it’s coming back. It’s been a while to have a comedy with a little action instead of all these goofy reality shows…..It will be programmed in to my DVR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
]]>Regarding the delay of Chuck until after the Olympics, I think it is a good idea. Then we get uninterrupted Chuck, rather than a long dry spell in the middle of the season. There will be less competition later too. In the meantime, I’ll rewatch the first two seasons. Besides, Chuck will be already in the can to drop in when some other show bombs.
Finally, about Sarah working at a Subway. Not likely, because they close up the Orange Orange on a moment’s notice when she has to go save the world. However, waving a Subway Footlong under Big Mike’s nose every week would get the point across.
]]>Thank You for listening to the fans, critics and sponsors and bringing back CHUCK for a third (fourth, fifith) season. We appreciate your fiath in us, and will do our utmost to make CHUCK the numerical hit it always should have been.
Okay, waiting until after the Olympics is a long time, but since it is coming back on Monday nights and I am still going to unavailable – except by unacceptable DVR -(though Dollhouse on FOX was renewed in part to DVR numbers) I guess I can live with watching DVDs for a few months. But encore performeances of SouthLAnd while Chuck waits on the sidelines???? If it were possible, there are 6 million+ fans who would watch CHUCK 7 nights a week (okay, four nights a week).
I always wanted to be to be a weatherman. It was the only profession in which you could be wrong 75% or more of the time and be an expert. Maybe he didn’t consider being a TV programming executive – the pay is better and you get to wear a suit. I am greatful to NBC for renewing the BEST show on Network TV, and hope that they will help us in promoting the show by bringing CHUCK to USA network (teamed with BURN NOTICE on Thursday would be nice) or to the SCI FI (or should I say SyFy) channel as part of their Friday line-up with Stargate.
By the way (or chould I say Buy-Moria the way), Chuck is not a nerd, he is a product of his time and that is part of what resonates with the fans. The everyday man put in imposssible situations who gets by on technology, sis faith in himself and those he cares about, especially his family. Whether he is saving Ellie or Morgan, or being saved by Sarah Walker and John Casey… and be honest, we all want friends like that.
The Cast, Crew, Writers, and Directors have given us people we care about, and I guess there is nothing more than we can ask of them. We owe it to them to make sure the network people see the truth.
Not much else to add, other to to say my Heart Felt Thanks to the fans who supported CHUCK – the cast and crew for giving us people to care about – and to NBC for showing faith in the program.
By the way, Chucks’s watch is the Casio MTG-910DA (which I proudly wear)… maybe we can get Casio on the team with Subway…
MY THANKS TO ALL THE FANS
]]>And whoopee about the renewal. I had a feeling we’d be ok, because our campaign was so unique, but I’m still relieved. Go Chuck! Best show on tv at the moment (er, uh, will be the best, after the Olympics that is, lol.)
]]>I know it got renewed, but there’s absolutely NO REASON to stop with the original campaigns. I think ALL of us who committed to heart donations should do it at least one more time. However this time we should say THANK YOU for having a heart. I think that since it was a civil and polite campaign it’s the only logical thing to follow up on. GET MOTIVATED and TELL ALL WHO TOOK PART!!!!
