I will be watching when it comes back on and hope for the best, but definitely not enthusiastic about this new season.
]]>Well, I’m pleased to find that I misread him and his (“half in character”) humor. The joke’s on me, I guess.
]]>That’s really sweet to hear, Mel. I’ve heard him talk a little about his acting process, and the research he does for all his roles, what he did to create Lester, and the way he immerses in roles, I think he’s super-talented big big big time!
]]>Agreed, Barb. We chatted with him at a party Saturday evening and while we still had some “tension” going on (a joke between me and Vik that I explained in the podcast going up soon), he did sincerely thank us for supporting the show “since before the beginning” and gave me a big hug. Vik’s not a hugger, so that ought to give you an idea of how emotional the weekend was for him.
]]>That quote was from the CHICAGO comic-con, not this one.
]]>I personally love when he’s gets up there, half in character, and gets provocative. These things can get to be such love-fests, I find it a little boring, but he goes in and shakes things up. I find it awesome. Plus I, too, have heard him be really genuine and grateful. Very much. AND, you guys have talked to him a couple of times, Mel, hearing those interviews, and others, he’s not only SO fast and funny, but also one of the most thoughtful, deep, actors out there, who does a lot of dramatic work, ‘Lester’ being a very specific character he created that’s only one aspect of what he can do, wouldn’t you say Mel?
]]>Sorry I missed that. Do you have an approximate time of that quote?
