I just wish an Internet company could come up with a more accurate system than the antiquated Nielsons and put that sorry excuse for a Rating Gide into its much deserved grave.

But this is what’s so frustrating. Why couldn’t NBC ever turn all that hype into ratings?

Compare Chuck to the mega hit TBBT. Okay, I understand that direct comparisons are apples and oranges. But what show is better? I like TBBT, I guess. But it’s mindless fluff, at best.

NBC has buried Chuck in a no win time slot, given it no promotion, and messed with the episode order, insuring a disjointed storyline.

Now they’re burning off what promises to be a very good episode on the Friday before Christmas. It’ll be lucky to get a .6 demo.

Interesting info Mel, I personally think the Nielson system needs to be replaced. I am just glad that NBC stuck with Chuck (no pun intended). How many other great shows will be caned or have been canned by this faulty rating system?
