Chuck is one of the best shows Ive ever watched. I am really upset with the decision that chuck is over. I love sitting around with my parents and friends watching this show. Im really sad that its coming to an end. I wish that there can be another chance given to Chuck. :(((

Years ago, I saw Gene Roddenberry of Star Trek fame speak. He stated that a television show’s main purpose was to sell products. The content of the shows was insignificant as long as the show had good ratings, and a good show was a fluke.
I think that there is a lot of truth to this. I have seen many excellent show get the axe. One of my recent favorites was Human Target (that had one of Chuck’s better writers Matt Miller working on it), and it only lasted two seasons. I say that we were lucky to get five good years of Chuck.
Remember also that all good stories come to an end.

Another network President who is out of touch with what people want! What is it with these guys? Quality programs seem to get the ax while stupid, mundane and boring programs continue.
“Chuck” has been nothing but entertaining and a program I looked forward to watch every week. I think the network wanted it to end and buried it on Friday nights which in my opinion is the “kiss of death!” Mr. Greenblatt, come clean and tell us why the network didn’t promote this program?
The cast has been exceptional, the characters so well rounded and we have come to love and care about them. I am so glad I bought the series. Maybe Mr. Greenblatt should be fired! “LETS ALERT THE MASSES!”

In reply to Alastair. I wonder how many fans of Chuck actually are a part of the Nielsen rating system. I have never met any one who as taken part of this program. When NBC does get a program that people love that cancel it, we were luck enough to get a final season from Chuck with a wrap up, we didn't get that with Heroes and a few others. Chuck was the last show on NBC that I do watch, so I don't have to worry about flipping to that channel again, CBS has the best line up, And then there is Revenge on ABC which has had a great first season. So Mr Greenblatt, your PR people definitely need to work with you, because you are costing your network viewers by comments like that. And for what its worth people are getting tired of reality TV shows and Judge shows, talk shows taking over everything. We like our family shows, our action shows, even our soaps, And that goes for all networks not just NBC,.

Mr. Greenblatt’s comment on CHUCK is very harsh. I dont think he ever watch the show to begin with. There are not many Tv Series that like CHUCK. CHUCK is very unique in term of theme and storyline. CHUCK is the only show that can make my tears drops. I never miss any episode of CHUCK. I hope for the best to the actors in the future. I hope there will be CHUCK 2.

In reply to Jon. Besides, Scrubs was produced by ABC Studios, sister company to ABC. That was one of the main reasons ABC picked it up.

It is time for Chuck to go but we as fans have put up with a lot-writer’s strikes, chopped up seasons and a few storylines that I did not particularly like–now Chuck just needs help dressing and combing his hair when he presents awards–I too hated the ending of Moonlight and also Life. I thought they were both exceptional and actually preferred them to Chuck. My #1 for the last few years is Closer and possibly #2 Castle-big separation between #1 and #2 and I am concerned Closer may not end on a high note.

Everyone is correct, we deserve at least a little common courtesy from the new guy on the block.

I believe from Mr. Grennblatt’s point of view that Chuck isn’t worth the networks time of day. I have been a follower since season one, my husband and kids have been faithful watchers. I know the networks base there budgets/shows based on neilsen ratings and/or boxes, to me that is the biggest downfall of the networks. They (networks) rely to much on the black boxes of the ratings companies for their decisions regarding shows, instead of listening to the blogs and forums of the country. My family and I have completely enjoyed Chuck and will watch until the end. My kids are going to miss Chuck, Sara and John Casey, my kids love the antics and missions of this trio. I am in the process of buying each season of Chuck, as I can afford it, in support of the show staff and actors.
