He seemed like a fish in a tree writing for Chuck. It’s no co-incidence that the sparkle of the first 3 seasons disappeared with the en-masse exit of Adler/Rosenbaum/Miller/Borow etc. Not that Wootton was at fault here. It’s just that the others were a tough act to follow. Now he’s back in his comfort zone, the criminal procedural, where I’m sure he will excel.
