(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home4/nicegir6/public_html/chucktv.net/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114In addition to our usual Chuck Year in Review feature, coming later this month, we thought it would be fun to take a look at what some of the Chuck cast and crew have done this year following the end of the series.

After five seasons playing nerd-turned-hero Chuck Bartowski, Zachary Levi started out 2012 with a round of press for the series finale, then a well-deserved vacation. In February he signed on to star in the pilot for a FOX sitcom, Let It Go, after fielding several offers for other projects. FOX ultimately passed on the pilot, which allowed Zac to take on the role of Frandral the Dashing in Thor 2 in June (the blond hair in some of the photos below are for this role).

In addition to those projects, Zac lent his voice to Tangled Ever After, an animated short depicting the wedding of Flynn Rider and Rapunzel; voiced several characters in an episode of Robot Chicken; was a guest on The Talking Dead; and appeared in the web series Video Game High School.

Speaking of video games, he appeared at this year’s VGA’s along with other previous hosts of the award show and hosted a series of behind-the-scenes videos for the new Tomb Raider game, [easyazon-link asin=”B004FS8LYK”]Tomb Raider: The Final Hours Edition[/easyazon-link]. Zac was also a guest at the People’s Choice Awards, Betty White’s 90th Birthday Celebration, the Golden Globes, the Gracie Awards, and the Teen Choice Awards.

Keeping his live action chops honed, Zac participated in several episodes of The Thrilling Adventure Hour, a monthly staged production in the style of old-time radio, and the annual benefit A Night At Sardi’s. And, of course, he brought Nerd HQ back to San Diego for a second successful year, and staged a Chuck reunion, as The Nerd Machine continued to expand (and co-starred in a web series to promote Nerd HQ).

Zac also spent a couple of hours in April talking with Kevin Pollak on The Kevin Pollak Chat Show, a must watch for anyone who is a fan of this guy, and was a cover story for BELLO magazine (you can read it via their app). Zac also continued his support of Operation Smile and the LA Mission throughout the year.

What will Zac do in 2013? Follow him on Twitter to find out!
