While catching up with some Chuck<\/strong> folks this week, I found out something awesome: we now have a connection to S.H.I.E.L.D.<\/strong>, the hotly anticipated Marvel series from Joss Whedon.<\/p>\n

No, none of the Chuck<\/strong> cast are appearing on the series (to our knowledge…they keep things pretty secretive over there; I keep hoping Adam Baldwin will guest star), but prop master Scott Bauer and his crew are working on the pilot, currently in production. You may remember that Scott answered<\/a> some<\/a> fan questions<\/a> about items used on the show, giving us the inside scoop. In telling me about his new project, Scott said, “It’s a lot of fun and very similar to Chuck<\/strong>. Joss is a very cool person to be around.” Are you guys geeking out over this? Or is it just me?<\/p>\n
