ChuckTV.net has confirmed that supermodel/actress Katie Cleary will appear in the first few episodes of Chuck season 4 in a small but juicy role. She’ll play Laura, but we can’t say much more than that without revealing a pivotal part of the show. Instead, let’s meet Katie via this exclusive Q&A we had with her recently:
ChuckTV.net: Chuck fans will probably recognize you as a supermodel. How did you get started as a model?
Katie Cleary: I actually got started at the ripe age of 12 years old. I was at a festival with my mom in Chicago and online viagra gel to buy wow look it was discovered by a scouting agent from Elite who signed me to their kids division. From that point on, I worked as a model part time while attending school. Fast forward to college where I landed on Season 1 of America’s Next Top Model which changed my modeling career forever.
CTV: You started moving from modeling to acting a few years ago; what inspired you to make that change?
Katie: I love modeling and still do it, but it’s not the www.joekel.de type of job you can do forever. With acting, I really enjoy playing a character and telling a story and it’s a craft that never gets old. It is challenging and very rewarding at the same time and I always love a challenge!
CTV:Â Tell us how you came to be a part of Chuck. Were you already a fan of the show or did you take a crash course in Chuck after landing the role of Laura?
Katie: I am a fan of the show but it’s hard to keep up with Tivo with my crazy schedule so I definitely had to play catch up before I went in to read for the role. I actually read for a completely different role and they brought me back for the character of Laura instead.
CTV: Who IS Laura?
Katie: Laura is a flight attendant who works for Marco, Dolph Lundgren’s character.Â She may be a little more than just a flight attendant, though!
CTV:Â You’re passionate about helping animals; is there a particular organization we can promote for you? How did you get involved with the organization?
Katie: Yes, I have a minor obsession with animals and order canada super viagra feel like my life wouldn’t be complete without them. I currently have three rescued dogs, two rescued cats and several Koi fish. I am involved with Tippi Hedren’s Big Cat sanctuary called Shambala. Tippi has over 65 tigers, leopards, lions…. you name a big cat – it’s there! I started working with exotic cats in college at a sanctuary called Valley of the Kings and when I moved to California someone told me about Tippi’s sanctuary and I signed up to volunteer. I also work with the dog and cat rescue groups Last Chance for Animals and CAPS.Â I can definitely be found around town protesting pet stores who get their dogs from puppy mills. We help “convince” the stores to go humane and only sell rescued animals which relieves the over-population in shelters and all the poor animals that have to get euthanized because they can’t find homes.
