POLL: Chuck vs Big Bang Theory

Hey gang - I'm new here, but I love the site and podcast!  I'm running a poll on my blog right now asking which do you prefer, 'Chuck' or 'Big Bang Theory'?  It seems that geeks watch either 'Chuck' or 'Big Bang Theory', but not both.

I voted "I watch and like both shows" -- because I do. But if I had to pick one, I'd pick Chuck.

I wouldnt miss either show as they're both great, but personally I think Chuck wins every time.

What's Big Bang Theory?     OK, I've heard of it.  But only in the last week or so because wendolf mentioned it. 

Non-sports/news shows I watch (except with my kids, when I have no control of the remote):
Chuck  Simpsons  Mythbusters   and reruns, occasionally, of Scrubs or Home Improvement

Totally false choice.  As a Sarah Stegall says in her reviews, the Chuck writers grok geeks (or more properly, nerds).  I got into TBBT because of Lubos Motl, a Czech physicist who spent some time at Harvard, who pointed out on his weblog (http://motls.blogspot.com/) that the physics in jokes in TBBT is always right, which is a very neat trick. IT Geeks with a Physics background have no choice - they have to love both shows.

Let's just say that I recognise the types in both shows, though my Physics days ended before the 80s, and I've never had to herd any cats as awful as Jeff, Lester or Morgan.

TBBT is really for geeks, Chuck appeals to a difference audience like me (who is not a geek/nerd at all lol), besides TBBT does not have Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin and that says it for me .

When I mentioned Yvonne/Adam I meant the non geek side I should have included Sarah/Ryan as well lol.

Josh and Zac are nerds so they can be compared (somewhat) the the geeks side of TBBT.

They toke the Morgan Grimes character down a notch this season though, he was more prominent last season

My thanks to everyone who checked out the poll.  So far there are 50 votes.  Chuck is winning at 44%.  Also interesting is that the option for "I watch and like both shows" is currently at 20%.  That means that 64% of the people who answered the poll like Chuck.
