After weeks of reporting ratings that begin with “6”, what a treat to see that this week the numbers not only higher, but high enough to kick us up to the “7”s. An estimated 7.25 million viewers tuned into watch Casey confront his sensei last night, giving Chuck a nice 10% bump in viewership. Good job, show.

That’s good to see. Especially considering that Chuck vs The Sensei was not aired in the greater St. Louis region. The local NBC affiliate loves to randomly pull blocks of prime time to show really stupid local stuff (like a 30 minute show about the digital transition that they aired last night for the 3rd time this year). This episode won’t air locally until 11:30pm this coming Sunday night. Admittedly, this isn’t a huge market, but it still had to remove some.
I loved Chuck vs. The Sensei it was a great episode.
That’s awesome for Chuck! I hope this trend continues now that Dancing with the Stars is out of the picture.
