Chill, Chuck Fans!

We’ve been hearing some weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth among the Chuck fandom lately. People are afraid that Chuck is not strong enough to garner a third season, to which I say, “What?!” The show continues to get better and better, and everyone wants to be a guest on this show! Everyone wants a pass into Chuck-topia. If you don’t believe me, take a look at what SciFi Portal posted yesterday:

It’s quirky and it’s fun, and the audience for it is growing.

“Chuck” has grown its overnight audience by more than 10 percent from the beginning of the season, making it the largest positive jump of any genre network show in the most recent 10 active television weeks of the season, compared to the first 10.

With numbers like that, do you seriously think NBC is going to pull it from next season’s line up? Calm down, fair Chucklers! Stop wringing your hands and pulling out your hair. Our favorite Nerds aren’t going anywhere but on hiatus, after which they’ll return for more adventures with Chuck, Sarah, Casey, and the rest of the Nerd Herders, in season 3.

  1. yah…that’s exactly what I wanna hear…

  2. Hello evrybody ! I am french and I L O V E Chuck ! In France we see the first season !!!!! Yes we have late !!!!! I ask you to know if there was a third or maybe 4 season ?!? Sorry for my language !!!!

  3. Thanks for the good news! I’ve been one of those worried fans, and I won’t stop worrying until we get official confirmation of a renewal, but this definitely helps.

  4. Hopefully you’re right, I love Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski in Chuck.

  5. omg that’s amazing!!!!!!

  6. I hope you are right. However, NBC has a history of dropping good shows.

  7. I agree with those that have posted previously. Talk is cheap. Chuck is the only show I watch on NBC. Personally, I’m sick of reality shows. Absolutely don’t watch ANY of them. It is amazing the people would put out personal dirty laundry for the world to see. It upset me that in January ANOTHER dancing show was on instead of Chuck. Will believe it when I see it posted as renewed. Greed is controling the major networks. Cheap, unscripted shows are replacing quality shows like Chuck.

  8. First of all I want to say that I have been a big fan from the very beginning. Second of all, like many others I have been wanting to see the Chuck and Sarah relationship grow (Called Charah by many fans). Third of all, during the Christmas Holidays I bought 13 season 1 dvd’s to give out as gifts, plus I transfered all the episodes of season 2 that I had stored on my Tivo onto video tapes to give out as well. 4 sets of video tapes of season 2 episode as Christmas gifts plus 3 sets since Christmas. I have spent an enormous amount of time and money to do my part to promote the best show I have seen on tv in years. Forth of all, I am 44 years old and have watch alot of tv shows and movies over the years and I strongly feel that Yvonne Strahovski is the most talented actress (including actors for that matter) that I have ever seen. She is such an extraordinarily gifted actress. She is just incredible! With all this said I am quite unhappy with the way J.S. and C.F. have taken the direction of the show. I am all for obstacles or bumps in the road to slow down their relationship, but there is a difference between a bump in the road and a brick wall. They are turning the Chuck and Sarah relationship into a soap opera. If I wanted to watch a soap opera I would turn on General Hospital. And yes in the late 80’s I did watch soap operas including General Hospital so I do know what I am talking about. I don’t want to watch Chuck the soap opera. In the last episode “Chuck Versus The Suburbs, Chuck tells Ellie that his relationship with Sarah will never be more then it is right now. And he is right. Why should he continue to be verbally and emotionally abused by Sarah playing the Ice Princess with her emotions? The dream he had in the Third Dimension is so fitting. It shows Sarah as being sexy and very desireable. We viewers already know that she will move Heaven and Earth to protect Chuck, but just like the dream she will periodically stab a knife into his heart in an emotional way whenever they start to connect. At this point I strongly believe that Chuck deserves someone else. Someone (anyone) would be better then Sarah. She is no good for him at this point. She is not worth it. If the main point of the show is to bring them together in a constructive intelligent manner then do so.vThat is if Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz plus the writers can repair the damage that they have caused to not only the Chuck and Sarah characters on the show, but also to the damage they have inflicted against the loyal fan viewership as well. OR they could just keep Chuck and Sarah as strickly friends that work together on the spy missions. Stop this soap opera stupid garbage please! If you don’t the very reason that brought fans to the show will drive them away. I am not giving up on the show yet, but I also feel like I too because of the show have found myself in a abusive relationship. I defend and strongly promote the show. I see so much potential of where it could go. I see brief glimmers of hope in parts of the episodes with the chemistry between Chuck and Sarah, but sadly it is always followed by a brutal punch in the gut! Why? It is so unneccesary. The very basis of the current situation is enough to keep them apart. Sarah is too much of a professional to allow anything to really happen between them, plus she would never try to sneak something past the General or Casey for that matter. It would never work. The fact is Chuck the Nerd has never had the girl. They have only had 2 passionate kisses, one of which was coerced, and one when they thought they were about to die. 2 kisses and chemistry don’t equal anything near a real relationship. I don’t understand why the producers and writers want to destroy what made the show so great, especially when NBC could pull the plug on the show at any time. If there is a season 3, I don’t know whether I will watch it or not. I guess it all depends on where they take the show. Like I already have said I feel like I have been abused as well by what they have done to Chuck and Sarah. I have never felt such a passionate feeling for a tv show ever before. I support the TV show Chuck if they bring Chuck and Sarah together. I support the TV Show Chuck with continued character developement. I support the TV Show Chuck if they keep Chuck and Sarah as close friends only. But I will never ever support Chuck as a nightime soap opera! If Chuck the night time soap opera is where the show is heading then please please NBC cancel the show before they can further destroy the great characters they themselves have created. Thanks, HSmith

  13. Some time ago, I needed to buy a good car for my firm but I did not earn enough cash and could not purchase anything. Thank goodness my sister proposed to get the loan from trustworthy creditors. Thus, I did so and used to be happy with my sba loan.
