To help promote the campaign, we’re running a giveaway to reward the loyal viewers who participate. There are five ways to enter, which means you have as many as five chances to win!
How to Enter
- Post a comment below stating that you’ve written a letter to NBC.
- Post a link to the campaign on your blog/Facebook/MySpace/whatever and leave us a comment with the link.
- Twitter about the contest and post a link in a comment.
- Use the awesome campaign graphics that Chad created in some form – this can be used in conjunction with option #2 – and leave a comment below with a link.
- Post a comment telling us which Subway Footlong you purchased for the finale (you can send a photo to mel@chucktv.net with your Footlong if you want to be featured on the site).
The Rules
You MUST include a working email address with your comments so we have a way to contact you. Entries must be posted by 11:59PM PST on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 – the day after NBC announces their Fall lineup and we find out Chuck‘s fate. This contest is open to residents of the Planet Earth. The winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries, and notified via email.
The Prizes
One (1) grand prize winner will receive Chuck season 1 on DVD; a Chuck comic book; the highly sought after, enormous Chuck swag bag from last year’s Comic Con; and a Nerd Herd t-shirt (size L) from TheWB.com!
Two (2) runners up will receive Chuck season 1 on DVD to keep or share plus a t-shirt featuring the WB logo from TheWB.com.

Sent letters to NBC with the following point that I haven’t seen elsewhere:
…In the age of viral marketing, and unfortunately, in the age of that disgusting YouTube attack on Domino’s pizza, I would think that NBC could sell Subway (or some other company) on the value of an active group of bloggers who view their company as the one who saved our show. I commend NBC for your willingness to examine different business models – the deal with DirectTV to finance Friday Night Lights for example – and hope that the financial value of Chuck’s dedicated fan base is included in the renewal decision.

Had a lovely chat with the manager of a local subway and told him about our campaign (he apologized that he was out of comment cards) then logged on to Subway.com to let them know that I purchased a footlong today.
I let NBC know that I purchased season 1 on DVD, season 2 on iTunes as well as 13 songs on iTunes because I heard them on the show.
Hope the show gets a third season… Can’t take another good show being cancelled.

I’ve written 2 letters and I hit the contact us page several times a week asking for a renewal.

I have:
1. Written 2 hand written (and semi-cursive, I might add) letters, one to Ben Silverman and one to Angela Bromstad at NBC. Piece of literary genius, if I might say so myself (lets hope Silverman and Bromstad think the same thing!)
2. Bought a $5.00 footlong to eat while I watch the show–there were no comment cards, so I emailed them a note at Subway.com (telling them how the writers of Chuck have done a great job in promoting Subway through their product placements in the show).
3. Going to watch the finale on Tivo tonight (and will probably watch it again during the week, like I do all of these great episodes)
4. Bought the season 1 season on DVD–started watching Chuck in season 2, so I bought the dvd set and watched them in about 3-4 days, they were so great and addictive.
5. Lent out my season 1 dvd to my parents and have promised friends they can see it next.
6. Have told everyone I know about Chuck until they think I am crazy–which I am, in a good way.
7. Have talked to my husband (who watches the show with me) about Chuck until he tells me to stop and “grunts” in jest like Casey. He thinks I am getting obsessed with the show–which I am, but also in a good way.
So, hopefully with all of these (at least #s 1-6, we should get a season 3!)

I wrote a letter to Ben and Angela (NBC executives), have watched every episode since the pilot, downloaded every episode from Itunes, purchased several $5.00 footlongs from Subway for their Product Placement, tell all my friends to watch to get them hooked on the show, go on NBC.com to rewatch the episodes that were just aired, posted fliers at work to get people to watch the show, posted comments on NBC.com and Chucktv.net, even posted on my facebook acct.

For the Finale I bought a Spicy Italian Footlong and spent the past week posting messages on various forums and social networking sites so hopefully I got a bunch of new viewers. I even convinced a couple friends to skip going to a phillies game (you have no idea how hard this was, considering it was dollar dog night) just to watch the finale with me.

Chuck is awesome! I have written 2 letters to NBC, I had Subway for lunch and dinner today, and I have talked nonstop about how great the finale is going to be to all my friends and coworkers for the past week. I also called the Subway customer service department to express how I would be purchasing Subway in support of Chuck. Hoping for a season 3!
I love Chuck! I love the action mixed with the humor. I enjoy being able to sit down after a long Monday to kick back and relax watching Chuck. Allows me to escape reality which I feel is the goal for television. My family and I ate at Subway twice today to show our support for a 3rd season of Chuck. I also called into the number that was given at Subway for their customer service to show my support to another season. Can’t wait to see what is coming next to Chuck!

I’m doing all I can to get this show back. Chuck is my life, dude. I can’t live without it. I went to Burbank to try and find the actors, but my uncle forced me and my mom to come back to his house in Glendale. I did get some Chuck comics though, and we did pass the studio.

I’m Derrick (my last name), a 27 year-old college student from (my home town). My wife and I are big fans of the television program Chuck. I’m writing today to request that Chuck be renewed for a third season as a part of Chucktv.net’s Chuck Campaign: Watch/Buy/Share/Write.
My wife and I have watched every episode of Chuck. We were introduced to the show by my father, (my dad’s name). He too is a regular viewer. Because I am married, have four children, and am a college student, my schedule is pretty full and I can’t always watch Chuck on my local NBC affiliate station, so my wife and I often watch Chuck online at NBC.com or Hulu.com. Thank you for providing full episodes online, it is a great service to have available.
I would like to request, on behalf of my wife and I, that Chuck be renewed for a third season. It is the only television program either my wife or myself have ever cared enough for to watch every episode of from the very beginning. This is illustrative of Chuck’s broad appeal as my wife is not a native English speaker.
My wife, Sirirad, is a well-educated Thai woman. While she is fluent in English, she doesn’t always understand the puns or nerd-culture jokes, but she still finds Chuck to be very entertaining. It’s actually been really fun for me to get to explain the jokes to her, and watching Chuck has become one of our regular date-night activities.
We are not Nielsen viewers, but are proud members of the Chuck fan-base. We have eaten at Subway at least three times this last week, but we were eating at Subway because of Chuck long before we joined the campaign. When my wife and I saw “Big Mike†tear into a Subway sandwich on one of Chuck’s more recent episodes, we almost couldn’t wait for the episode to finish to go and buy one ourselves.
I apologize if my letter is too long winded, but my wife and I are very passionate about Chuck. We aren’t usually passionate about TV programs. We think it’d be fantastic if it’d get a third season. There really aren’t many other TV shows we think are worthwhile to watch besides Chuck. Thank you for your time and consideration. And thank you in advance for anything you may be able to do to give Chuck a third season.

I am a 23 yo female from NC! I have been watching Chuck from day one! I really enjoy the show! It is one of only three shows that I really follow. The other two are Life(NBC) & Lost(ABC). I normally watch all my shows online or DVR I am not the type to be stuck at home just to watch a show when it is scheduled I used to record everything I watched via VCR. before it was available online. I have recently introduced my family to the show and they really seem to be enjoying it as well. My dad who pretty much only watches MASH reruns and Lost… Says he really enjoys the show! Since I am the Kiss of Death to TV series I wanted to do as much as I could to help Chuck get a season 3. I was hoping to post a video montage to youtube, but it’s taken my 2 days playing around with file formats to try & get a good balance of file size & quality & I think it’s a little late to bother now. I did all 5. I wrote letters to both Silverman and Bromstad, I believe their names were. I posted those graphics on my facebook, as well as started trying to get my facebook friends to watch Chuck. Facebook ID is otlndr and under the name Joey Curry. I also Twittered it. Told my twitter list to watch Chuck, and joined every save Chuck group and signed every petition I could find. And my wife and I watched the finale while eating 5 dollar footlongs. I got the Spicy Italian, and she got the oven roasted chicken breast. I also emailed Subway with my thanks for their support of the show.

I’ve just plastered a few save chuck banners on our band’s website, along with adding our plea and a link to the site on our status http://www.myspace.com/inflexion123 Hopefully when the other members find out they’ll watch chuck and realise how brilliant it is before hunting me down! I’ve also been signing every petition the search engines turn up and sent NBC a positive comment of the show via their website. I really don’t mind losing as long as the consolation prize is a series renewal!
I enjoyed a Ham and Swiss footlong during the finale and I have been hounding my friends to watch Chuck. I was at a party last week and found another fan; I think our enthusiastic conversation about how much we love Chuck won over a few new viewers. Vive Chuck!

I sent 2 letters to NBC’s Chuck to save the show, and I bought a footlong Subway on Monday.
I had the cold cut combo! I love Chuck!!!! Ahhhh It has to come back i’ll be so disappointed if it doesn’t! What a horrible ending if it does.
I have sent a letter as well to convince NBC to renew this show for next year, plus years to follow. It is very entertaining and the cast is great.
