This week, on “Chuck vs the First Kill”, after Chuck’s father Steve (guest star Scott Bakula) is kidnapped by Fulcrum, Chuck learns the only chance he has to find him is by putting his trust and life into the hands of the person he trusts the least—his ex-girlfriend Jill Roberts (guest star Jordana Brewster). Meanwhile, the Buy More team tries to sabotage Emmett’s (guest star Tony Hale) corporate evaluation.

I didn’t even know this show existed until a few weeks ago. My nephew let me borrow his dvd of the first season. I watched the first five episodes one night, and I watched the remainder the following night. I can’t remember the last time I was entertained so quickly by a show! It has a nice mixture of comedy, action, and romance. The writing is brilliant, and the cast is phenomenal.
In this age of “Reality” programming, it’s great to see a show like “Chuck” can still exist. I sincerely hope it doesn’t get canceled. It deserves AT LEAST one more season.
P.S. I will be purchasing the first season of Chuck this week. I will do what I can to spread the word.
