SCREENCAPS: Episode 2.19-2.21, Plus Call For Help

You may have noticed that we haven’t uploaded the screencaps from the past couple of episodes into the Gallery. That’s because the Coppermine software that we use is having trouble handling the thousands and thousands of files that we have in our Gallery and now refuses to let us add anymore. As a temporary workaround, we’ve uploaded the screencaps for episodes 2.19-2.21 to Megaupload for you to grab in one batch and sort through on your own computer. Here are the links:

Now, the call for help: if you’re familiar with Coppermine, particularly in high-content situations, and would be willing to help us figure out a fix for this issue, please email Mel. There is a plugin available for managing extensive content, but there appears to be a glitch in that as well. Naturally. So, Nerd Herders, can you help us out?

And while we’re on the topic of technical difficulties, we are aware of the capacity errors the site is throwing. It’s a good thing (really!) because it means last night’s episode of Chuck was so awesome that our server is being bombarded with people wanting to get more information. We will be moving to a dedicated server for season 3 to better handle the traffic. Until then, just keep hitting refresh!

  3. NBC modified their official website a little to promote the second season finale, and they put up a message on the front page:

“If you love ‘Chuck’, show your support by watching this Monday’s finale…”

Sounds like NBC will decide whether or not the show gets a third season based on how big the ratings are tomorrow night.

Let your friends know ASAP – we all gotta tune in tomorrow night.

(By the way, today *4/26* is Jordana Brewster’s birthday.
    Many Happy Returns! : ) )
