As fans of NBC’s critically acclaimed show CHUCK continue to rally behind the show and ask NBC for a third season, a star-studded lineup from the cast and creative team came together to thank the fans for their efforts on Chuck vs. the Podcast leading up to the season finale, airing Monday, April 27th. From London, New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles, they were all eager to reach out and share their gratitude for the fan campaigns, excitement about the finale, and passion for the show.
“The grassroots campaigns to save CHUCK have been nothing short of remarkable,” says series lead Zachary Levi, calling from London. “It means so much to know that the fans are doing so much to keep the show on the air.”
Adam Baldwin, who plays gruff Colonel John Casey, expresses his gratitude as well. “I think the campaign by the fans for the renewal is very helpful, and I appreciate all the support that’s out there.”
The cast and creative team gave a few clues about what to expect in the season finale as well, promising an episode that will thrill fans and whet appetites for a third season.
“It’s going to be epic,” promises Joshua Gomez, who plays Morgan Grimes. “Whether you’ve been watching the whole time or not, you’re going to get your money’s worth. I think people are going to be really excited when they see it.”
“The finale is going to be a game changer,” teases Ryan McPartlin, aka Captain Awesome. “The finale is going to get the fans’ mouths watering for a third season.” McPartlin also discusses his excitement at fan reaction for the penultimate episode of CHUCK, and how he plans to join the fans in the campaign for a third season.
Other highlights include Bonita Friedericy (General Diane Beckman) talking about the strong female characters on the show; Tony Hale (Emmett Millbarge) talking about how important CHUCK is as a family show that all ages can safely watch; and writers Ali Adler, Phil Klemmer and Scott Rosenbaum talking about their plans for season 3.
This episode of Chuck vs. the Podcast will be released at 6PM ET on Friday, April 24th on www.chuckpodcast.com and iTunes.

@Bea and Chuckles: Yvonne is on location in Australia for a project. We weren’t able to catch up with her in time for this podcast, unfortunately.
I am exited about the season finale. But don’t want it to be the last new episode of Chuck I watch. I am really hopeing for a season 3 and caint wait to hear the news. I’m happy to be apart of the save Chuck program. Thank you evsryone for letting us the fans get involved with the efforts to save Chuck.

OK, I bought an episode on itunes, I watched Chuck on hulu, I have sent emails, signed petitions, bought season 1 and season 2 chuck dvd on amazon. I looked at the Subway menu for Monday. I would like to know what kind of numbers are doing all of these things. Is it 500, 5000, 50000, etc. I have told people I don’t and do know to watch Monday and email nbc. Does anyone have a sense of how large this save chuck project is?

I thought it was strange that there was not one mention of Yvonne by any of the podcast participants. Makes me think that they have thus written the show off, said their goodbyes to her, and already moved on in their minds.
Exactly the opposite, of what I hope, however. So that disturbed me a bit. It’s going to be a long week and a half to May 5.
So I am watching Serenity the movie on tv. And I see Adam B. And all I can do is think about how much of a bad ass he is. So on that note. I caint wait till Monday. It just seems like it is taking forever for Monday to come around.

Well I am watching episode 3 and I tell ya I hope there will be a season 4. Love you Adam I watch 90% of your shows Love you on firefly and the Visitor also Chuck and I will on the Assigngment, Ami is a lucky gal and Im sure you are anexcellent family man I hope as this show continues they give you a love intrest thats perfect for your character If it is OK with Ami that is and you. Im sure a sophistacted smart strong graceful independent beautiful woman from say MI6 or MI5 whatever it is could be a reat companion maybe show you guys out on a date of sophistication or gun shooting No sex and drama just a reat love intrest where we can tell but obviously John Casey is modest and reserved in his private life so there wouldnt be an overwhelming seduction but enough to let us know you have chemistry and are an item then it wont offend Ami or I because I dont see John Casey in deep whatever like Chuck gets in he is just not that kind of guy. They need to give you a steady relationship before the show goes off the air and put Chuck and aent walker back tgether maybe leaving the scene of CIA and building a family together then after a year or so bring out Chuck movie where the ring comes after chuck and agent walker who would be married and had 2 kids and they have to put the team together to protect the family and take out the rin once and for all.Even if they make us think at the end that the rin is gone we know it only takes a spark to get a fire going and one lil low life can get back in the game rebuild and come after revenge:)
